These are my favorite now. Locally, we have a store that sells Costco overstock, and you can get 40" tower fans for $20. Having them above the lights, help blow the warm air into the canopy and make the lights run ice cold.
I was thinking of this before this thread popped up.
Is there a pic of this in your thread?

I bought 2 of those Vivosun clip on fans, put them in the tent a couple days ago. One lasted less than 9 hours, turned it on went to work came home it was over. It would move side to side, but the fan will not spin. Emailed Vivosun and they haven't got back to me yet. Think I am going to check out those SJ Monkey's.

Do your fans have blue blades?

I have mine zip tied like crazy to the pole, it hasn’t stopped working yet. It’s not the oscillating one, it’s even been dripping wet from humidity a few times ( noob grower ).

Well after a few days of emails back and forth, they are sending me new fans. I asked the lady what bk78 said and yes they will be replacing with the updated white fan blade model. Will see how they stand up.

How did the fans shake out for you? I still haven't decided on which route I'm going to take. Vivosun,Secret Jardin pole fans or tower fans.
Horticultural source has some monkey fans for $20.00 bucks a pop but their reviews are shot.

I have 4 of the is oscillating monkey fans. They have been great so far. 6 months. The oscillating mechanism of a couple made a creaking noise which sounded like a cat initially but eventually settled in and stopped. I imagine that would be annoying for a while if it was in the house.

As of right now I have one original blue blade still in action, and one newer white blade fan since I got it. Still got a new white blade in the box. Honestly I will endorse the white blade fan, and would buy again as it stands. Plus Vivosun did come thru and backed up their product up.

Also these little things move some air.

I have two cross corner in a 5x5 tent and they get the job done on low setting. As the plants grow I have to adjust as it can get violent.
