I just got my 215 last week and I am trying to look into legally selling to clubs. I believe its called a vendors license but I'm not sure. Anyone know how I can obtain one? I would like to be able to buy from patients I know and sell there excess to the clubs for them. Any help is appreciated!! Thank you!

usually they call it donating not selling. some clubs do not even like to hear the word selling. then you get something in exchange for that donation. usually money. it probably depends on the state.

I assume you are in CA?
Vending to clubs is a legal grey area. It is obviously done all the time but it will never be 100% safe. You are only allowed to possess 1/2 lb in LA (depends on county/city) however if you are vending I'm assuming you will have more than that! Also cultivation is really supposed to be for personal use, you can technically of grow more if you are operating as part of a collective BUT if your plant number exceeds the set county (or state limit if one is not set by county/city) limit the cops will most likely bust you and let the courts decide. It will be up to you to defend the legality of your grow (not a fun process).
Also collectives and growers are supposed to operate on a non-profit basis so if your "vend" is interrupted and money is exchanged, even if you truly didn't make a profit you will likely be charged with intent to distribute.
That being said it is done all the time, just be aware of the risks!

Side note- I spoke with my lawyer once about 99 plant grow permits, they are scams and do NOT hold up in court!
Not sure about vender permits, however I would assume they fall in the same boat...

Federally even a 215 doesn't count. And I have one. My county limit is 25 and I have 10 right now. And as far as I know as long as your a caretaker for someone you can have more then 25 plants. (Assuming you and the one your caretaking for have your 215) you'd be able to legally grow 25 per person per 215.

This is a great topic and shows what a cluster fuck our government is.
Anyone else have a county that decided to leave plant counts at "officer discretion"?
I've never heard of officer discretion, I could see that going horribly!! Though could potentially allow for more than the SB 420 of 6/12 i suppose?... or none at all?
The state is all over the place... 2016 can't come soon enough :bigjoint:

My city or county haven't specified so sticking to the 6/12 is advisable but hell their are some massive grows around here so anything less than an entire house you're low on the priority list!

as far as feds small state legal medical grows they could give a shit less about. bigger growers that grow over 100 plants are asking for it. you're better off growing in 2 or more locations and not telling anyone about it. you can sort of do it legally if you have someone to be a proxy but they might want something in return. where i am all my friends got medical. i know people who literally get it free because they find a caregiver that pays for everything just so they can grow their plants. even gives them free smoke every month. im not for recreational or the federal government capitalizing. look what they did to cigarettes. you cant even smoke pure tobacco unless you grow it yourself. leave it to the smaller home growers and force any distributors to have much higher quality control measures. i dont think it should be taxed either.
