I'm pretty sure my fiance is going threw this ,but idk were to begin or how I try to make her realize it. She left yesterday with our kids, she's Ben throwing like fits lately. Gets mad at breast feeding and yells at everyone, even the pediatrician she was so rude to the lady was like 75, who does that? I'm kinda just don't know what to do more I try to make her happy more sad she is. I swear she's telling people I hit her, such bs. She's apparently suicidal. Our daughter is 7 months and have a two year old,i know kids can be stressful, but she won't let me help says there her kids, think it could be postpartum depression? We get along most the time. Except when she yells at the babies. So weird

That sounds bout right but could be a number of things. I think @sunni just had a baby and being female and all, maybe she could shed light. Good luck!

You can't diagnose her, nobody can remotely. I'd go to a psychologist, or marriage family therapist and lay out my problems and ask what to do. They often have you bring the troubled family member in to help in your therapy, as a non-threatening way to start. Then, if they are good enough, they hook them into combined family counseling or give you guys meaningful recommendations/referrals.

This also provides you with a paper trial in case of divorce to help you in the custody battle. BTW are they your biological children? Suicidal and yelling at the kids, you may wish to consider getting help fast in the form of child protective services. But that will most likely blow your marriage up. But better that than dead kids, your call.

First if she is suicidal, get help. Get help now. You can call 911 and they will put her on a 72 hour watch and make her talk to someone before she can leave.

Other than that, exercise and raw fresh produce. Oh and plenty of water.
Might put her in the psych hospital for suicidal ideology. I know this from personal experience.

women are crazier for 1 year after birth than the pregnancy but if u already have kids i guess u know that
no one knows better than the people she lives with u should trust your gut

So.

I'm talking from experience to. I have had four friends kill themselves. Everyone of them told someone they were going to do it and it was ignored.

If someone claims they are going to kill themselves, get help.
I'm so sorry to hear of your loss sir. And yer right. Get help immediately. I attempted suicide at least 4-6 times. Don't know if I wanted to die but it definitely was a scream for help:(

I agree with getting a 5150. Problem out here is they usually have to be willing to display their suicidal ideation in front of the cops. Out here it can be seen as a hostile spouse trying to get even, or a custody ploy. Sad it's very complicated and many get hurt and die needlessly.

I think it takes 3 family members to have someone admitted without just cause.

Sorry that you're going through this.
Yeah those kind of laws vary greatly from state to state. I'd think the local suicide hotline might have some suggestions but the police would know what they do and what it takes. Actually so would a family law attorney but if time is of the essence ...

I would say maybe film it with a phone. I've done a couple of them. All that is needed here is two witnesses or of course a display in front of the police.

What supporting evidence is required varies by jurisdiction but a video from a cell phone would be a great idea. I wonder how that will set her off. This is a really tough situation. Ah well anything involving human life is huh?

I was thinking maybe just press record on the phone and leave it in a shirt pocket. Wouldn't be any video but the audio should work to if she admits it.

Its not like I want to do something lime that. Its just after a number of friends died that way I take it serious if someone says they want to kill themselves.

I would also worry about her harming the children. Its happened before.
