anyone know anything about dreams???

ok so im trying to get this job and its a huuuuge deal if i get it im paid good again and if i dont ill probably have to sell my house....so i took the drug test and backround/driving check and hadnt heard back through the weekend and then like monday i had this dream....(i frequently remember multiple dreams) first it was a bunch of unrelated bs and then im sitting in my grandmas house my dad is playing drums, which he does not, and my uncle walks in just like he used to (hes passed away) and he hands me an over sized olive with a small fortune rolled up that said the name of the company and that they are happy to let me know i am being offered a job, i take a bite and wake up now since hes been gone ive NEVER had a dream about him that i recall...then very next night i have a dream that i go into an office where alot of other ppl are and i see my old boss at another job and he appearently now works for this new company im trying to get into and i explain to him its taking a while to hear back so i came in. he goes on to tell me hey it could take 5-10 days man relax and that i cant be their because they are having an orientation and i havent heard back yet so i walk outside and some lady asks for a cigarette, i dont smoke so some guy hands her one and she gets in my car and tells me to drop her off im like no sorry im not gonna do that you need to get out of my car and she refuses and i threaten to call the police, at which time i start a new unrelated dream....the weird part is that the boss i saw in my dream also passed away while i worked for that company and ive never dreamt about him either!!!! am i just dreaming the outcome i want to? but then why are people who have died that i never dream about coming to tell me what i want to hear!!!!! im going crazy ppl any input??

I've heard that according to Jungian therapists....YOU are everyone in your own dream. If that's the case....what are these other people (or other versions of you) trying to tell you about yourself?

We can`t interpret it only you can. Dreams and trips are personal things they play around with symbols and memories in your head. You are your own symbol maker, we all get the basics from society so we share common points but thats too *on the surface* for me you hold the real meanings. You want to go a little bit deeper than that, just a bit more, the answer is right there, just a wee bit more & you will find it

well if thats the case then IM telling my own self that i probably will get the job....but why did I choose to use deceased ppl to convey that message thats the part that gets me!

I imagine finding it would feel a lot like Neo did in the Matrix when he finally met Morpheus face to face and had all of his feeling/thoughts validated. "I'm not crazy afterall!!!"

You got the job probably I dunno what it is man I totally refuted psychic things before.. But I just didnt understnd. A few months ago a guy I know stole my ipod and sold it for his god damn drugs... Then the evidence was not clear that he did it yet, I didnt even know it was gone. And I dreamt that I was with him, and he cut off my arm with this electric saw. Then later, I snuck up on him and cut his arm off! He screamed 'WHYYYY!" and I said, 'eye for an eye bitch'

Then I find out my ipods missing, he just sold one according to my friend, and I went to where he sold it and sure enough they had my ipod(same last name imprinted on back), then he asked if I wanted to press charges, I said 'no, I just want his ipod '

So now his 64gb ipod touch is in my pocket, my 120gb ipod is in the store, and he doesnt know I have it.

lol thats crazy...ive dreamt the future a few other times i dont remember the specifics but i remember telling ppl the dream and then having things happen similar in real life and they would call it out not even me myself...and just be like duuude thats crazy shit...so im hoping thats the case again that im dreaming what will happen, or that im controlling what will happen some physicists believe that our own computations control reality..

It is Im sure of it, just some people dont have the brains to be open to that side of things.

Of course nobody can REALLY, youd need some oober patients lol shamans and stuff Im sure are in touch with this a little...

i had a crazy dream too last night, i was growing in a shed(dont knw why) but its wasnt very sealed and i got robbed. i found out who did it but they wouldst just give me the equip back(i dodnt care about the bud). dont know what happened after that, but i do know what caused it, went to sleep right after reading a bunch of things about legality of cannabis.

ya i mean i could be projecting since im tripping about this job night and day BUT that doesnt explain why people who are deceased that i never dream about are the ones giving me this info...thats the creepy part, ive also dreamt the future many times and can control many of my dreams...sometimes if im reallllly lucky (cuz i like this its super trippy) i can wake up in a dream i can open my eyes know im sleeping and try to move but cant move and i an keep doing it if i wake far enough i smile and i can actually get back into that state...probly looks like im having a fuckin seizure lmao

I too have rather vivid dream of relevant events happening in my life. I interpret it as a "simply" having a busy mind... And more complexly I would say it's your self memory triggering inter-connecting events from your life.

For example,maybe your father was around when uncle was...
Wanting to get the job makes you think of past jobs...
People who have passed away could be subliminally easier to remember...
The crazy bitch is either someone you work with, have met, or the fact you live in a big city full of crazy people...

the unrelated part was that i had some weird job..then again i guess it might not be unrelated lmao...this job where id take like a fry basket and ride this...ski lift style thing and my whole job seemed to be to drop off the fry basket at the other side lol and then i left early while staying on the clock and went to some type of casino or arcade maybe and played some machines for a while with some other guys from work...then i went to my grandmas house which was conveniently attached it was as if all this was inside of a mall or something...i left that all out only because it wasnt as vivid and i didnt want to get any wrong while trying to remember.... and i also left out that when my dad was playing the drums a wall in real life was replaced with a window so i could see into the next room (didnt find that important but eh) my dad is still alive and ya always really was with us when i was with my uncle.....and that def makes sense that i was thinking of past jobs since im trying to get in the same field....and man the crazy bitch has showed up in many many dreams its actually fucking freaky one time she grabbed my neck and i couldnt move or talk or hit her i just couldnt react and when i was still little, like in a crib little, i started screaming one night and my mom runs up and all i say is the lady the lady....fuckin weird man...ive also had this one dream where as i realized i was dreaming i was supposed to walk one way (by supposed to i mean i could feel the dream pulling me to do what it wanted) and i refused and told my friend in my dream that i was dreaming and the bitch (and everyone else) just stared at me so i slapped her and ran lol...i no this sounds like some inception shit but it happened before the movie........i think humans are some kind of machine, and we still have never found out the REASON for dreaming could be some kind of download or upload and maybe THEY dont like it when you interfere or find out..sounds crazy but so are dreams lol......anyway you have fun with ms piggy tonight lol and good luck dreaming i always enjoy a good dream personally

your one the few people i have heard this from very interesting i have had very very similar experiences my whole life. especially the can tmove part, super wierd right like being trapped, sometimes it take so long to come out of it, or at least it feels like forever.

lol ya me too all my life ive had weird shit like that in dreams, and i think im one of the only 3 or so people ive ever known that knows what i mean...i feel like it happens for a straight 30-40 minutes and i can go back into it if i try it happens pretty rarely unfortunately as i like it lol....ill get super baked pass out and find myself waking enough to just kind of smile about the experience..ive also been accused of sleeping with my eyes open alot wonder if that has anything to do with it lol...and ive been known (more when i was younger) to sit up in my sleep and one time i sat up punched my exs bong over and layed back down as if nothing had happened i get awoken to crying and yelling and im like what, what happened and she tells me and im like shit it was an accident i was sleeping and i had to convince her i didnt wake up, i was actually kinda mad AT HER for waking me lol funny thing is she aquired that bong for doing some stupid ass modeling thing in a weed mag (i was a bit against the whole idea modeling is for whores and girls with daddy issues) so maybe subconsciously i did it on purpose but still in my sleep lol...idk what the cause of all this is but i find it a trip

also i would like to open this post up to anyone who would like to tell their weirdest dreams or odd sleep experiences...i find that kind of shit intriguing and there must be some kind of science behind it all

Hahahaha that's great man, "maybe I did try to do it"???

I really think the subconscious play's a huge roll in everyday functions from decision making to dreaming to how you react in certain situations.


I'd like to share a dream or two that have stuck with me over the years...

When I was a young child I had this dream, it started out in a fancy grocery store. I was walking with my Mom and Brother's in the produce section when all of a sudden the ceiling explodes and a giant UFO is hovering over sucking everybody up with their beams of light. Once up in the ship everybody was having their leg's and arm's switched around with another... People were walking around on hands and had legs for arms. I remember my brother wanting to do it and I kept begging him not to , he had it done but I don't remember the rest...

Or maybe everyone was just doing handstands... fuck its weird to think about your dreams lol...


Most recently I'm driving through the metro are of a city I frequent often, I'm driving along the road approaching a right turn. I take the right turn and am now in a construction zone. I finish my right turn and before I know it a section of the road is missing and I begin to freefall. It's a huge fall, I'm probably a mile or two off the ground. All I can do is wait for my window to roll down because the force wont let me open the door... This is where I start to realize I don't like this dream and proceed to wake myself up right as I start climbing out the window...


Wake yourself out of a bad dream, can anyone else purposely do that?
