Socata and Dave are making me feel like a horrible German. Not knowing the native tongue and all.
It's all good my friend. I was just havin' a bit of fun buddy. I'm not fluent as it's been ages since I really spoke/wrote it. I only remember a little. :)

I did alot of work on my 2001 stang.. Its a rag top,,have the weight down to 2900 lbs..with the cage..Chassis and suspension done by mailloux chassis.. Its still a 4.6 supercharged with a vortech, with aftercooler, runing 12 psi of boost. dyno'd at 511RWHP.. Dyno'd and tuned by sean hyland motorsports. Still has a 5sp in it but not for long, I have a built C4 with transbrake and 4500 stall convertor ready to go in. Right now with the wounded 5sp it runs low 11's @ 124.00MPH.. If I could powershift I could for surly get it into the high 10's running 124 MPH..but the syncro's are screwed so I have to granny shift..Ran 11:23 my last time out granny shifting..

I'm mostly wanting to make a Baja bug, my dad had one but got rid of it cause of family issues with the car (family member died in wreck in a bug) since I'm not longer living near the family I want one.

if you want a baja it out you may want o to get a super it doesn;t have the torsion bar and in turn has a more rigid frame, but I guess for the sake of your ass you may want the torsion bar if you really off road with it.

I intend get one after 67 superbeetle, but will be installing a full rollcage and re-enforcing the frame. (Not my first playtoy car lol) I just can't find myself liking jeeps and such as I do the Baja Bugs.

I've got a Ford Excursion Diesel, tuned and just a wee bit of propane. It's somewhere north of 400hp with gobs of torque.

This makes for a good daily driver, especially when catching the unsuspecting muscle car off-guard.
