Yeah mines the ebb and flow , I have done lots of research and gathering supplies making sure Im ready for this before diving in head first . One thing is the water issue ... AZ water sucks ... and I have no RO system as of yet.
Anyone know of any that do the job for a decent price ? Ive looked at lots but im just not sure . Other than that Im just waiting for the seeds to come in . I got gallons of filtered water though till I figure this RO thing out lol .
i have this one

http://www.uswatersystems.com/shop/products/Watts-50%252dGPD-5%252dStage-Reverse-Osmosis-System-%7C-GTS%252d550.html

i chose to upgrade to the 75 gpd for the extra 10 bucks.

Hell with the water the plant is a weed it will and does flourish even with the 700ppm plus tap water that I use. Tested and 280 cal, 160 Mag, 90 iron, 25 Phos and a bunch of trace minerals. My shit grows even when they get plain tap. Sure need to flush at the end with boiled or distilled but when you have to pay for the H2O comming in and then when it goes out RO's can burn a big hole in the wallet if you are using a bunch, thinking large scale grows who go through a 50 or more gallon drum a day it has got to increase their overhead like quick. IMHO Can anyone taste the difference? Got to get a green house to get the price per G down even more but I wonder how in the hell you would cool the sucker. LOL

I was at the water and ice store once a week filling up six- five gallon jugs. AZ water is horrible but you can find a water and ice store on every corner out here so just do that its only .30 cents a gallon and I have checked the PPM it's usually 50 PPM, Sparkletts comes in at 30 PPM. Just make sure you buy a R/O system made for hydroponics. Not one at home depot, I bought one at home depot and regret it now it only does 25 gallons a day. The grow stores are selling most of the 200 gallon a day r/o systems for about $190.00 - $300.00
the machines are cheaper. .20 cents a gallon if you buy five usually. in some places i have seen as low as .15 cents. find the cheapest most accessable machine. test it with your ppm and ph meter (which you should have if you are growing), get a few 5 gallon jugs and you are set. monitor your water usage over three weeks to a month and make an analysis as to whether or not buying an RO system is cost effective or not.

i bet you could learn much more here if you spent the same four days doing thoughtful research here and applied yourself, plus its free.

I am quickly learning that emptying the pockets of MMJ patients is big business, so patients need to be wise in how they spend their resources.

you can learn about anything you want on the internet
