Anyone In The Market For A Light System

I'm selling a Hydrofarm Sunburst series 250 watt Metal Halide grow light system with an internal ballast. Included is a 220 watt HPS conversion bulb and hangers. It's 3 years old, but in great condition. Letting it all go for $80

3 phase is another way to wire some electrical devices...I'm not an electrician but it is even more efficient than 220V
3 phase is just how large scale (commercial) power is generated. Single phase current can be used at just as great or poor efficacy as tipple phase. Triple phase is generally used as 3 separate single phase legs (or circuits). 3 phase is like powering 3 separate outlets at the same time, each cycling between + & - charge (AC) at a 1/3 stagger (out of sink). You can actually reverse the rotation of a triple phase motor by simply swapping any 2 of its 3 leads If I'm not mistaken triple phase is rarely used for much other than large motors (generally over a couple horsepower). Though could have its benefits if designing a solid-state (or digital) ballast. (and there are exceptions with some military, laboratory, and aviation equipment, but not the kind of stuff you likely see every day) Since most of what we deal with is designed for residential use where triple phase hookups are rare unless you have a fully furnished shop with things like machine equipment or commercial air compressors. Its simply impractical to design or market 3 phase devices to the public consumer, (commercial/government/aerospace equipment may already exist to fill that niche too , just likely to cost quite a bit more).
