It's not been as nice today as yesterday.
Plus it was a Sunday so the local waterpark had crowds gridlocking the roads.
That's Hemsworth, near Pontefract.
One of my best pals moved to Pontefract. Im kinda Mancunian but i shagged a few birds from york back in the day. One of them only drank Yorkshire tea and spoke propper funny. Ive cut about in the car around yorkshire, fucking gorgeous more stunning than the rest of the north up til scotland, imo.

What do you classify as refined and what do you find refined about american english?
Pure irony bro. lol
Nada. zilch. completely lacking any ability to discern nuance, double entendre, etc
They are my neighbours and we have an unfair advantage.
Still, like a demented cousin I love them.

They are actually nice people in my experience. Not wordmiths though. My Grandad was stationed in Yorkshire during ww2. RCAF bombing squadron. He was part of the pummeling of Dresden. He passed away in '94.
I wish I'd had the chance to talk with him about his time in Yorkshire. It looks very beautiful. One day I hope to visit.

Sorry, I get sentimental and nostalgic the older I get.
Bye for now.
