I bought a cheap pH pen off of eBay and it sucks (surprise). It's a Milwaukee pH 600 and it won't stay calibrated. I bought buffer solution and followed all directions... suck. Has anyone found a little, relatively inexpensive pH pen or electronic tester that they like? Thanks.

pH pens are a big waste in my opinion! PPM pens are a different story... those are worth every cent of the $15 that they cost.

As for pH, the $7 bottle of liquid tester + liquid tube sold at HtgSupply . com and other places, is dead accurate -- there is no need to spend more than that. Avoid the strips, those are crappy. But the liquid lasts me a LONG time and is accurate within .25 pH in my opinion. Do you need more than that?

The only problem with the liquid tester is that i need to test the ph of my compost tea after it is brewed. The water is brown so i need a ph pen, any advice?

Hannah pH meters go on ebay for about $30 and I've never heard of one that wasn't more than accurate enough for our needs. Get a big bottle of 7.01 cal solution and use it for storage solution too.
