I have some growing right now. They germinated like shit I only got three to germinate and pop out of the soil. Out of those three 1 was female a very pretty plant. Short bushy growth like a mini christmas tree. One of the best looking plants in my collection in veg and the plant thrived with no additional nutes through the entire veg cycle in ocean forrest soil. It pre flowered at like 2 weeks which was convenient. I have just started flowering it about a week ago so no smoke or flower report yet. I'll keep you updated though

I have KC Brains-Brains Damage and the germ rate sucks! I germed 6 beans and only 1 sprouted and it was a male. I still have 4 left but Im not too confident they will give me a lady. So no more KC! I have GH, Sensi, Dutchman, Pick and Mix, World of Seeds and others but KC is the only one that has given me germ problems! Good Luck with the Mango Bro!

I had a journal but it is worthless for your purposes. I had everything go wrong at once on me in the journal and ended up with no yield on the plants I was following. I will take some pics of my mango plant when the lights come on and post them up today at some point.

As for the brains damage I got ten of those and actually had a good germination rate I planted 5 and four of them are now growing in my veg room. One preflowered already and is a female the others are only about a week old.

I germ a lot of seeds one at a time though so it's hard to judge with any consistancy. I have my stable grow in 3/4ths of the room that is the AK 48 from my avatar and some white widow that I have been cloning for about 3 years now. Then I have the other 1/4 of the room I dedicate to growing exotic or fun looking strains and that area tends to fail more often than it should because I get too experimental.

I bought a sack of Mango last week, and to tell you the truth it wasn't impressive at all. I would have been a lot happier with a sack of swag. It had a very mellow buzz that seemed to fade away very quickly. I came to the conclusion that it was either getting flushed down the toilet or mixed with something else. I decided to mix it so it wouldn't be a total loss. Luckily I found an eighth of Skunk#1 that I mixed with my half ounce of Mango. It is amazing what a difference that Skunk made.

I have never grown anything from KC Brains but any beans that are priced as inexpensive as the KC Brains beans I have seen males me somewhat dubious of what one might receive. It seems a few posters so far have complained about low germ rate percentages so that alone makes me wonder about the products.

I have no experience with the KC Brains products and am not even giving an actual opinion but instead just saying that you get what you pay for and while not all high priced beans are worth what they cost something that is very inexpensive, like the KC Brains beans I have seen, might not be up to snuff because as much as other breeders sell their products for if the KC Brains gear was quality they would most likely ask more for their products than they do.

Some less expensive beans while possibly not the best of genetics and not as potent as others may still be a good value when you compare cost to quality received but when something is very inexpensive it tends to make me wonder about it.

When you see beans for $18.81 (U.S. dollars) and most beans are $50.00 to $75.00 to over $100.00 and over $200.00 one might want to ask why the ones priced at $18.81 are priced at $18.81.

Caveat emptor …. Let the buyer beware.

The kc mango I grew was easy enough to grow and I cloned it without problems. 3 of 5 seeds were female. Good looking indica. Nice smell, decent taste and decent high.
I grew citral side by side with it and the people I smoke with said the citral was better so I stopped growing the mango.

Hey now, this stuff placed 3rd in the Cannabis cup indica catagory back in '02. So it must have some redeeming factors right?
Its my understanding that KC is a reputable breeder that just wants to give ganja seeds to people at a price that makes sense next to the cost of producing them. If you think about it, you can grow thousands upon thousands of seeds for next to no money.
When i started reading up on KC i was under the impression he just did what alot of bargain breeders do, which is buy seeds from established breeders and just cross the first male and female they get and sell the seeds as the real thing. However, the more i read, the more it seems that he is in fact legit, creating his own strains and backcrossing appropriately to stabilize the preferred traits.
I still havn't popped my mangoes, i've currently got a bunch of white rhino filling up my veg space. but soon enough they'll be cloned and flowered and it'll either be the mango or jock horror up next.

I just harvested a pretty nice looking Mango plant. As I said a few months ago in this thread I had a rough time with germination but it only takes one good female to make a million clones. The bud itself is real thick hairs on hard solid nugs, mine doesn't smell like Mango in my opinion but it is certainly a potent and unique top quality smell. Not a ton of trichomes, the buds are covered in crystals but the leaves have very little trichomes. Bud to leaf ratio is awesome it took me like ten minutes to trim the whole plant there was seriously only like two to four leaves on each nug. I smoked an uncured nug yesterday high seemed proper but I'll give an udate in a week or so when it is fully done curing. 40 grams off a 2 ft tall plant
