Just recently purchased some bubblegum seeds they seem interesting and seem like a decent smoke, anyone on here grown them before outdoors and can give any advice? or show some pics etc.. Just really want to know what the end product looks like, and whats a good mixture for soil/neutrients to use when preparing my soil for this strain.

Thanks heaps :leaf:

Well this is the best way to find out wut the product will look like...Grow it out! But for soil MJ plants in general will love you if you plant them in a nice compost mixture. I've seen some trees grown in tht shit!

I've grown it. Out of five beans three ended up being female. Out of that three two smelled like straight up bazooka joe bubblegum after the cure. Nice high. Friends loved it.

This is one of mine, didn't get too big, too much shade. The pic is about 3 weeks before I harvested.

I had to harvest her back in early september. Took her a bit early because of a mold problem. She started to get a tad moldy, not much mold resistance, thats the down side. She isn't really bread for the outdoors. BUT the end product was still great, I just know it could have been a bit denser. Still solid end product though, everyone loves it so far.

I just amended the ground with some cheapo home depot soil amender. Will use smart pots with good, aerated soil next year. Buy some really good potting soil and add perlite if it's not in there yet, that's what I would do. Make sure it drains real well. Thats if you can water a lot and are close by.

Oh and I got the clone from an experienced friend, don't know the origins other than that.

Looks good man, I would be happy with that; and if you got a good end product thats all good. How'd yours go yielding?

My buddies dad and me grew a bunch of the bubble gum years ago. He had 1 mother of that strain and we used the clones every spring. Bubble gum is a great strain it originated within 10 miles our my old grow op and and was probally a clone from the original.
Is a great strain as long as you take care of it. We had some pretty crazy big yeilds from it.
