Organic Autos in Alaskan Supersoil eh? I got one for you...
This is a Sensi Seeds Skunk #1 Auto fem freebie I scored in an Attitude promo, harvested 2 weeks ago, grown in a greenhouse, LST'd, in supersoil, in a 3-gallon smartpot.

I chopped her at 110 days, under a lighting schedule that only an auto could love. Her first 2 months under a 12-12 600w HPS, then moved outside early May to finish mid-June under what became 20 hrs of AK sunshine! Weird if you're a photo grower for sure but WTF, here in AK we do what we can right!?:hump:

She was ready but could have gone longer, maybe even 120 days, but you can't do this with a photo, outside, in AK.:cool::cool:

Besides she's heavy and sticky and pretty good smoke- I'd say GREAT for an auto! Although very subtle odor and flavor, which scores low for me but would be good for the stealth grower. So she's not my headstash but looks good in a bag and is stoney.

I pulled 5 well-trimmed ounces off her:bigjoint:, and even chopped off her main stem early on, cloned it, sprayed it with colloidal silver, got nanners and was able to pollinate 3 other autos with her! My first time ever so Ha!

Anyway, I post this just to show that even without a complex setup, we who have the midnight sun can easily pop a few seeds, get them started under a CFL in April and put them in a South window or ideally in a greenhouse in May to finish under our awesome sun, with very low investment.

Good luck with your grown NVHAK49! bongsmilie

Keep us posted on how it goes.
That's awesome man awesome grow looks super good. So you started yours under a 12-12 light schedule? I started mine that way but it was slow growing for a while than put it under a 400w hps it's stretched a lot than I put it outside and it's been outside ever since. I don't have a green house right now but I move it out in direct sunlight when it's nice than I put it under a over hang when it's raining. It's got some pretty small buds but it was just an expirment I still have 3 more seeds of that blue mystic AF I'll grow the rest inside this fall than I'll try another AF for next summer. I might even start one of the blue mystics now under the sun till it starts getting cold than finish it under my 400hps. Thanks for the info tho tho Elkammino!!

Sounds like a good plan nvhak49.

I see your'e putting them under the overhang when it rains, but do you have any issues with powdery mildew or budrot, and how do you deal with them? Growing outside here on the coast seems impossible, its just too wet. Humidity's always a challenge in greenhouses too, but I'm thinking its easier to amnage than wet buds... right? Anyway I'm staged in every freakin way for a guerilla grow this summer but just can't stand to take the ladies out from under the protection of the greenhouse. If you've any advice on defending against PM on outdoor plants I'd love to hear it, and thanks in advance!

And seriously, give us a pic of your lady- if she's an auto she's gotta be about done stretching and starting to put on the weight. Keep rockin it, and props to all Alaska growers doing it outside! :bigjoint:

I haven't had any problem with mildew or bud rot at all, I get the cotton wood seeds stuck in the buds tho only problem and afids once in a while but it seems to be doing well. I don't have any advice for PM I haven't ever ran into that problem "knock on wood". Here's a pic of my plant it doesn't have the biggest buds but it sure does smell good and it's getting pretty frosty and half of the trichs r cloudy and I'm flushing it now so it'll be done soon.

Yeah it's been prefect under it unless it get super windy than I move it inside on a window seal but it hasn't been lately "knock on wood" I'm hoping under two weeks since I started flushing it Thursday been putting 2 gallons of pH'ed water each time whenever it starts getting dry. Most of the tricks r cloudy and if some turn amber that's fine too. Yeah so far the tomatoes have been loving the smarties yeah I'll put support soon when they get taller. They 're almost about to start blooming I hope it gets sunny again so they get going faster haha. I harvest some green onions Friday that I grew in smarties too they were super good. Yeah it's my only plant right now but I just planted another of the same seed yesterday gonna grow it outside till it's cold than finish inside. I grew a Unknow seed and harvest it end of may I got 6 ozs from it I was pretty stoked on that's since it was my first grow but wish I would have let it go longer. I grew it in a bubbleponic system and used GH nutes. But with this new one I'm starting I'm gonna go organic and see how I like it. Do you have any plants to share. How do u like to grow?

its an indo' crop, but I have a lot of fun trying to pack 6 full grown plants into my 2x3 closet!

In retrospect, I really should have trimmed that under-growth down in the second or third week.... I'm scroggin' now so I'll keep that in mind!

Larf * New to me too.

Me & the Scrog method get along nicely & since I started doing it that way, I always trim the understory - I like ventilation & lots of it.
