Anyone Else "Solid" Like Attitude?

I've been loyal to Attitude for over 5 years, but that may come to an end.

First of all, if you bought from them and had any issues, you dealt with Rachel. And she was awesome. I had successful replacements when Rachel was onboard, like when my AK-47 Autos were not auto. They grew to 4 ft. tall, so I KNOW they weren't autos. LOL. But Rachel is now gone.

Yes, Attitude discloses that their beans are for souvenir purchases only, and I can understand that. With Rachel, there was still the benefit-of-the-doubt for the consumer. I resubmitted my claim, and stated that the seeds were damaged. I emailed a picture, and 11 days later I had a whole new breeder's packet show up. Fantastic. Thank you Rachel!

Rachel is now gone.

My new grow is now transitioning to 12-12, and the white haired crowns are showing up. But I also found 4 plants that sprung the nanners. I got rid of them, but all of them came from "feminized" seed packs. I had 18 plants, and now I'm down to 14. I've got Grand Daddy Purple, Pineapple Express, Sweet Deep Grapefruit and Sweet Thai going.

I need to state that I live in the US (Washington, not D.C.), and marijuana is fully legal here. Growing is allowed only for medical marijuana and growers who are now getting grow permits for recreational cannabis. I have a medical marijuana permit. I supply meds to all kinds of people, from teachers to business owners.

I requested a replacement and/or credit to my account for the 4 males, and life goes on merrily. I was just looking for 4 seeds as a replacement, or credit. I then submitted a pic as requested by Attitude. And here was their reply:

I'm not trying to make a big deal out of this, but I figured if you are serious about cultivating, there isn't any guarantee that you are going to get what you paid for. I don't need males. I don't need autos if I purchased "feminised," and I don't need males if I bought feminised seeds! So is this the "box of chocolate" cliche as it refers to cannabis? "You never know what you're gonna get?" Again, 'just wanted to give the serious growers a "head's up."

jesh, you mean to tell us that when a seed bank says that they won't talk to anyone about germination problems because the products they sell, although legal to possess in some countries, are illegal to germinate in pretty much every country on earth, so by admitting that you broke the law with a product that you purchased from them, even though when you bought them, you checked a little box saying, i will not attempt to germinate these seeds i'm buying from you as i know it's illegal to do so, you're surprised by this attitude and want to warn others that when they attempt to germinate seeds from a bank even after they too check the little box that says that they won't do so?
btw, longest run on sentence ever..

i just don't understand why people get shocked when a company does exactly what they say they'll do when they sell you an illegal product is all..

/ end of rant.. but pretty much no seeed bank will talk to you or anyone about germinating seeeds that you had bought from them, especially after the buyer agrees to such terms before they check out of the said seeed bank..

Lol not another one of these threads..... you have yourself to blame here bud, if you got bad beans you picked the wrong company attitude is simply a middle man buying in bulk and providing to you. You agreed to not germinate them and you did end of story

i think the tude should test all beans before shipping them out. to make sure we are getting the correct beans like fems and male/female ratios.

oh wait then they would be a clone bank

You know while I agree it might be time to switch banks I still have to say it's easy for others to chime in.

Point is if you buy a product and it's not what you paid extra for then you have a right to complain. Bad business is bad business and they shouldn't try to dismiss your problem to the breeder even though that's where it originates. If everyone commenting ordered 400$ of feminized seeds and half were males they would be furious as well.

They will discuss germination and growing with you. They also have a germination guarantee!!! As long as you follow their germ guide (they may require pics, but im only guessing). They have like an 80% or 90% germ guarantee.

Their prices are a bit higher, but I think the free shipping and germ guarantee make up for it. All of their prices are for 10 packs i think, but if you call them, they will sell you different quantities.

I ordered once, I called and they not only let me order 5 packs instead, but also gave me a discount! They are in Canada, so no worries about customs. I only popped 1 pack so far, and all germed. They are on week 1 of 12/12.

I agree but if one buys from a place that continuously provides bad business then dont get upset when you get bad business.

Never heard of them but thats sounds hella decent. Might give em a go.

Seed banks are shit ! Attitude is one of the better ones but if you have a problem most time bend over and take it right up your a$$ if your lucky %10 off your next order. Oh and remember don't say they did not germ or any shit like that.

i tend to agree.. the tude are great right up till you have a problem with an order.. i had an order, i ordered one x, and got y.. i emailed them, send them pix of the packaging, and seed bags, etc, etc.. fine, they say mail them back.. i mail them back with a lil note with my order number and contact info.. they never get them of course..
now, i wasn't only out the seeds i ordered, i was also now out the seeds i should have just kept now too.. i had a bad feeling i should have just kept them too.. oh well, live and learn...
but if everything goes fine, and you get your gear, they're great...

i tend to agree.. the tude are great right up till you have a problem with an order.. i had an order, i ordered one x, and got y.. i emailed them, send them pix of the packaging, and seed bags, etc, etc.. fine, they say mail them back.. i mail them back with a lil note with my order number and contact info.. they never get them of course..
now, i wasn't only out the seeds i ordered, i was also now out the seeds i should have just kept now too.. i had a bad feeling i should have just kept them too.. oh well, live and learn...

I have also been a long term customer ,but just like Racerboy is telling you, for souvenirs only. attitude is the distributor only. contact the breeder directly as I did [auto seeds] and they were willing to replace the 5 pack that I purchased from Attitude, that is until they could not ship to the USA. so Attitude contacted Auto seeds and they worked it out between themselves and Attitude sent me a 5 pack . Both companies did a fine job in customer relations..I'm not camping,but I am happy.:-D

I think the most I've made it is 3 months over the last 2 years :) I've ordered so many beans my seed list is ridiculous and I barely grow lol. It's an addiction, before I started growing I would read the seed collectors thread and laugh, now I feel what it's like to have the disease.

I'm proud of you for your year long :) It's hard. But one day I'll get there.
