I usually veg for about 2 months or so under floros and flower under a 600..
I average 4-6 zips per but I also lst during veg and never put more than 2 under at one time..
Hope this helps Good Luck.

If you veg for a long time put a cage around it similar to the pic i found online, it supports all buds at finish (no flop) spreads the plant out allowing more light to more colas and more light down low, this will probably double your final weight. I do smaller versions of this.

The one in the front was a mom before i changed my mind on strains (got too many beans) so she was under t5s and a couple cfls for about 3 months, then I turned the halide on 600w because of the bushiness. She is probably 34-36 inches tall and close to 40inches wide. I should be flipping her this week (was going to do it yesterday bit my mother in law is visiting). I am in a 5x5 tent and she pretty much owns a big portion of it. My buddy broight over a crispy burnt trinity that you see in the back corner, been trying to nurse her back to health, she was the most naked plant I have ever seen! I told him to retire! Now she is filling in good and shes been vegging for close to 3 months.

I let mine go for atleast 3 months tops on some vegging! I have been doing some tests myself with just a month veg time, and I am ending up with plants that's around alittle over a foot tall, I would say there going to get just alittle bigger being there just in there 1st week of flower. :mrgreen: the strains in the pictures are Belladonna, and Skunk#1 and Purple Voodoo. Not trying to jack your thread bro, was just showing what I am goin end up with. Oh, and I also have around 23 more strains in vegging.. ;)

I read in Skunk to veg them 2-3ft tall, I'd rather have one monster than numerous small ones. I got mine in a 30 gal container, under a 600. I'm letting it's roots really fill out the container. Go big or go home.

I get close to 4 ounces per plant myself. And on my outdoor girls (during summer months) I get "depending on strain" anywhere from half pound to a pound or over off each my girls..

Yeah I have a few 6 and a half & 7 footers going myself to. I myself imo would rather have smaller plants likie around a foot to two foot tall, so I can have a nice even canopy without having to have my lights all the way agaisnt the ceiling. And I have found in the years of growing that "smaller" plants around a foot or two is easier for me to take care of, but hey, when your dealing with 26 + strains, your goin do a lot work anyways. :mrgreen:

well my BB cheese look both indica dom and short bushy phenos, i did a long veg because of this, and they worked out well in a long veg while my autos grew, im flippin in 2 weeks just bc of the crowded tent im gettin... my buddy does 6 weeks worth of veg with these topped like i did and he pulls more then a qp or two if not more per plant ( my estimation as i dont remember so bare wit me lol just alot of bud) but im just hoping for a big yield to get me by summer time and deal without the heat

I have two Sugar Punch going now that were/are long vegged. I put one into flower at 12.5 weeks a week ago, her sister is still vegging at 13.5 weeks.

Here's a pic of the one I still have vegging, pic taken about 12.5 weeks;

I've been tying mine down now since about week 4. She loves it :-)

I just started doing longer veg times. I used to go 5-6 weeks in 5 gl pots and yield 2-3 zips per plant. Now I run 7-8 week veg in 7 gl pots and yield 3-4 zips per plant. That extra 2 weeks veg makes a big difference at least with the indica i'm growing.
