Anyone currently using Yield Pots?

My local hydro store got some of these Yield Pots (www.yieldpots.com) in last month and I picked up a few to try.

Is anyone else running them? What is your opinion of them if so?

My plants have only been in the pots for about 2 weeks so I haven't been able to compare with my other pots yet.

Here is a youtube video from monster gardens about the yield pot:

Looking around online I have found very little feedback, assuming because they are so new.

STAY AWAY FROM YIELD POTS!! I know a few friends who have tried them and they had nothing but problems. All the plants had PM, necrosis and chlorosis. A very plastic feeling material that does not drain well. I thought the plants looked diseased and water logged. Two close friends lost their harvests and that was it! Terrible product!! The guy at the grow shop said that they are made in the Phillipines for pennies. No wonder! More cheap junk fro the far-east passed off as "cool"

Ok so here is the deal, man do I hate when people/companies come onto fourms POST ONE "post" totally bashing a fellow product with no evidence, and some crazy claims. I wish fourms would delete accounts that come on bashing products that only have one post! Heres the real deal on YieldPots fabric pots, they are soild. First off in response to the unlegit/unaccurate post of Farmer Claude.

"All the plants had PM, necrosis and chlorosis."

#1 PM or powdery mildew would and has nothing to do with the container that the plants are planted in.
#2 Necrosis is a condition not a disease from depleted soil, incorrect soil pH or the wrong fertilizer can cause nutrient deficiency. Extremely low phosphorus will initially cause the plant's leaves to look very green, but eventually the older leaves turn necrotic. Other nutrient deficiencies that lead to necrosis include potassium, nitrogen, boron, iron and nickel.
#3 Chloris is a condition in which leaves produce insufficient chlorophyll. As chlorophyll is responsible for the green colour of leaves, chlorotic leaves are pale, yellow, or yellow-white. The affected plant has little or no ability to manufacture carbohydrates through photosynthesis and may die unless the cause of its chlorophyll insufficiency is treated

ALL OF THESE CONDITIONS WHICH WERE STATED HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH THE CONTAINERS THE PLANTS ARE IN, but prove that your "buddies" are amateur growers and cant grow in any container yet alone fabric pots! Please if your going to rate products or bash other companies have some solid experience! All facts stated against this product are false!

I am an experienced adviser to larger/commercial medical grow operations in California, Oregon and Washington and have been a active member for years on this fourm! In these pictures provided you can see the side by side between YieldPots and GeoPots! The farm in which we were testing these wanted to see the difference before purchasing in bulk a cheaper fabric pot. The results as seen are that the yieldpots performed the same as the more expensive fabric pots. From the close up pic you can see the individual root pruning that the plants planted in the yieldpots showed.

The gardening industry is filled with so many products with pointless hype. The reason for community fourms is for educated experienced people to help others with less experience grow as best to their ability while spending the least amount of money and time on pointless products and bad advise! A fabric pot either air prunes or doesnt! YieldPots are a solid product that many large scale grow sites indoors and outdoors use on a consistent basis!

Sorry to necro such an old post, but I couldn't resist. Yieldpots from Yieldpots.com have very poor drainage compared to other smartpots I've used. Don't waste money on them.
