LOL.

My local grow shop has been making these themselves for years.

They just use a net pot with some airline tubing and inside the pot they have a ring of a diffuser type tubing attached to the airline tubing. Then all that goes to a pump. You can use a manifold adaptor to split to each of your pots. They recommend them for any soil/soiless medium. It also means you pretty cannot overwater with them.

I think it costs them around £1 in parts and sell them for £3 each net pot. Then around £16 for a pump to run 4 pots.

I may run a test case on my next run just to see if there is any difference.

What you're describing in the vid seems to be more towards a DWC kind of idea.

yeah but with soil lol, if i was to use one i would experiment one with a air pot

I take it you're just talking about using the dome and air pump not the whole kit with the bottom insert etc?

IMO direct oxygen to the rootzone is going definitely help.

If I ever try one ill let you know how it goes.

yeah just the air dome and pump in a air pot i think them roots would be getting plenty of oxygen then lol

this is definitely my next experiment as have still not found anybody to have tried this .will start it in next few weeks and start a new thread :smile:
