Anybody know if I can use this bulb with this fixture?

Hood yes, ballast - maybe. There should be a rating on the ballast somewhere saying 400W, 600W, etc. You need to match the bulb wattage to the ballast wattage.

Well I found a 600w at the same place so I think I am going to give it a try and hope for the best... thanks

open up that ballast heat sink and take a look at the transformer to make 100% sure but im guessing that its a 600 watt only.

EDIT

UNPLUG IT then open it up dont touch anything safty first

Even unplugged, that capacitor is going to be loaded with electricity. I say don't open it.

yea there was never a chance my goofy ass was gonna crack that fucker open!!! I wouldn't have a clue what I was looking at! I'm just gonna get the 600w I found it at the same place after I checked the ballast.....me not fucking with electricity...
