in a dry box, maybe for odor control in a filter (you're still going to need air flow). seems like a great idea to drop some packets in a jar/bag for curing.

its just you always see silica gel sachets in packaging and i know that they draw the moisture out, so i wondered if you put a few at the bottom of your dry box it would speed things up a little

Cervantes mentions that in his book. Seems , if I remember right, it works, and may help for small quantities. You can dry the silica out to reuse. I think air movement will do as good of a job though. VV

I used to use silicia packets for my weed, but in a different way. I would put my weed, and then some celestrial tea bags, and the packet in a jar and close it tight. The weed would pick up the smell of the celestrial tea bags, for instance rasberry or whatever I used. Worked alright, you could smell the rasberry in the weed when you smoked it, not so much taste though. Good thinkin for drying tho : )

using silica gel in their dry box
I think it would work.
I would not want the packs that come in packages touching my weed though.
Since they absorb moisture they may absorb some THC if they are physically touching the weed.
Now the silica that Mogie is talking about would work well.
I am not sure where you buy it though.

If I used the pack I might would modify a plastic easter egg with several of those packs inside and drill holes on the egg.
