im new to this. i heard hydro was easier and cleaner than soil. well, im having trouble gettin started. i dont get the nutes. im not sure how to mix them in per gallon so i slowly add them until i reach the ppm number i want.

im trying lucas formual and i noticed that both cycles require twice as much bloom than micro (0-5-10 and 0-8-16). so i slowly add my nutes with a small measuring spoon in a ratio of 2 to 1.

my problem is when i adjust for ph(general hydroponics ph up/down) it spikes the ppm number and then im way over the target number.

is their a better way of doin things:-?

i tried askin yesterday and no one even looked and then my perdicament was deleted:evil:

any advice would be greatly appreciatedkiss-ass

Lucas uses reverse osmosis water. You should only be using a few drops of ph up/down anyway. You'll have to adjust.

If you change your solution every 7-10 days I wouldn't worry about PPM
to much. You know that your solution is the right mix.
You know that your PPM is gonna go down over time.
You know that when you add pH Down your PPM is gonna go up some.
use distilled water on your next nutrient change, and see what happens.
