It's ok. We're all criminals here.

Don't you have to pay for usenet? I used to download everything from megaupload but now i gotta go back to bittorrent. Bittorrent is ok for new TV shows if you're ok with not watching it that same day lol.

the best place for downloading was the newsgroups at one time. it was amazing.
it was a huge server that was designed to hold information software etc for companys worldwide which dismantled and deciphered the software, music, etc. in to text files ands stored them where anybody in the company could get access to it, if you were a bit of a geek you could access it too, you used a programme to download the text files which when downloaded and then would build them back up to the original file and you downloaded at full speed without having to upload.
you can still do it but no one seems to use or know how to use it anymore, and other people rar the files and password them which is fucking crazy, i think they call it nzb files now.

to do it you download grabit from this link and run it: http://www.shemes.com/
you install click next and check the licence agreement button and uncheck the quick launch button and install, tick the box launch grabit and finish, run the programme from the desktop and when it prompts you for your hostname every internet provider has one and it always starts with " news. " so mines is " news.virginmedia.com " as that is virgin medias newsgroup address. you would have to ask your internet provider what their one is. once you put it in click next and leave the username and password blank and click next it will prompt you it is downloading the newslist and will apply it, and now close the programme.

now got to binsearch at his link : http://binsearch.info/ and type in something you are looking for, it works a bit like torrent but without any uploads. you search for a file tick the box press on create nzb and you open the nzb file with grabit you can only download files up to seven days old for free, older files you have to pay for.
only 1 person uploads a file and more than 1 million people can download from it at their full internet broadband speed at the same time, good eh!
to upload any file to it you use a programme called yenc powerpost, a link, : http://powerpost.free.fr/

i know how to upload files to it but it is complicated if anyone wants to know how i can tell them.

google > song name, zippy.... One of the best things I've learned in the past 6 months. Way better than Limewire type shit, if you're looking for individual songs or even whole CDs

In the past i've occasionally felt a little bad for pirating films, then they charged us £15 a ticket to goto the cinema a week or so back to see the dictator, i no longer have the slightest issue with pirating :)
