ANY1 know how to judge if nutes r too strong or too weak??? Hydroponics

I read something on this site somewhere and cant remember what it said and cant find it anywhere lol

I think it said if the nutes r too high ph will rise or if nutes r too weak ph will fall... or else it was the other way round



.............anyone know the answer????????????

ps. ive ben growing for a while and now using bubblepots​

i know how to read the ec jst not exactly sure if its right

Ec goes up, PH goes down = needs less nutrients
Ec goes down, PH goes up = needs more nutrients
Ec stable, PH goes up = spot on


thats what someone has told me

I think you have it backwards. Generally if the ph is going down you have a root issue and the nutes are too strong. It is pretty common for the ph to go up Even if it is lean side from the plant drinking the water. Just follow the instructions on the bottle and read you plant. If it is too strong the leaf tip will burn. In that case add some water to the res to dilute the solution.
