So I pulled yesterday and had them hanging over night and today they are more dry than I would like so I was wondering if there is any way to slow down the process.(This is without an AC unit where obviously heat is the issue.) Thanks to anyone who can has suggestions.bongsmilie

You harvested yesterday, and they seemed dry by morning? Damn! Mine stay wet for at least 4-5 days and arent really ready for bagging till day 8 or 9-ish. I dont understand the part about the heat and a/c though.

The only way I've seen to speed up or slow down drying while they hang is to add/remove an oscillating fan...... Fans speed em up for sure. I like to dry them with just one small fan blowing out of the dry room and no direct air movement otherwise.... They seem to really look the best when I do it that way. Fans make it dry faster but make it look worse I think.

Ahh okay. All I was saying about the heat is that I don't have an AC unit so temp is something I can't really control at the moment. Ill make sure to keep the fan off for a while then. Thanks.

To facilitate slower drying induce humidity, add to the drying area some sliced potato or orange peel. This raises moisture levels and slows the drying although at that heat and humidity you would be creating good conditions for mold.

A hygrometer to measure moisture would help you in finding a better drying spot and a thermometer would help you to ensure temps stay lower. Maybe at the back of a closet in the cool or a similar area.

One way to make buds take longer to dry is to harvest the whole branch and forgo the trim. A branch with all the leaves takes longer to dry than smaller trimmed buds. Peace
