Have a patient in need of medicine and he has heard rumors that there are strains that help with this. I would think it might be a chokey strain cuz it makes you cough all that shit out of your lungs but I have no clue.

Any help on this would be appreciated.

Yeah man its this strain called alberutrol lol. Gotta 'vape' it :P

But in all seriousness, bumpin the thread. I quite enjoy running and cycling high, so if there's a strain that makes breathing easier Im interested in what others have experienced

There are some strains that act as a bronchial dialater or something ?
Most all cannabinoid's have anti inflammatory properties. I don't understand this thread. It's commonly said that all cannabis is good for asthma..... but all smoke is bad for inhalation.
Not all cannabis is created equal

I have problem lungs and find many strains cause breathing difficulty. None of them make it better..... I have a few strains that do not bother my breathing and give the quality high I need.

A vape will limit the irritating effects of the smoke on the lungs. Might want to consider that as well. The terpene pinene or skunk type strains are said to dilate the bronchials.

Cannabis is known to be a bronchiodialator. Sure not all strains are alike but it's been used as one for quite some time. I honestly don't think there is any strain that's been proven to be better than another, and anything to the contrary will just be hearsay, lacking any scientific backing.

Interesting nonetheless.

Eta obviously vaping is best

It is hard to tell others how to lead their lives, the patient is older and smokes cigs too so it is really hard to pursuade him not to use the damn vape. I know all about dem vapes thats all I do now.

you said all, and they are not ALL anti inflamatory, there is also a lot more cannabinoids that we haven't fully studied yet and so your statement is still invalid.

I said most all, not all. It's in the unedited quote right here. Most all DEFINITELY does not mean all, it means most all. I have asthma. I am presenting you with facts. I don't know what more you want.

Good luck giving your patients with respiratory problems "chokey" strains. Glad I'm not one of your patients.

Yikes! Needs to stop smoking cigarettes. That would help his asthma more than any cannabis would. Gotta break it to him honestly,, not that it probably hasn't been told before.

YOU could use some re-reading as there is a major difference between every and almost every. This chart shows which ones have anti inflammatory properties.View attachment 3238903
And the cites, studies, and multiple application for these "properties" are where exactly?

We know very little how cannabinoids work together and separately. This has been demonstrated by anyone who's tried sativex or actually reads peer reviewed studies.

Steephill is a testing lab, in it for selling you test results. Most of the attributes they've marked are picked out and extrapolated from small observations and studies done primarily out of Isreal and Switzerland. It is by no means accurate or something I'd bet the farm on

I've been using my vape with some DIY herbal juice and I've been able to go for my runs lately (at faster speeds and sharper inclines even) without having to use my Albuterol. I'm not sure if it's all in my head, but I feel as if my lung capacity has increased. The vape doesn't get me high (good or bad thing :/) so it feels like it's bunk, but like I said, I can run without getting all cracked out. I think the THC evaporated during decarb, so I'll have to try again with a foil seal over whatever I bake my herbs in next time. I just decarbed like a half oz, so if I killed that too, then shit. :/ At least I can breath, right?
