Hey everyone i posted a message in the montana medical thread but no one there responded so i thought i would try it here in the outdoor section. I live in South central montana and am gonna do an outdoor grow for the summer i have all my soil and all that stuff and some clones ready to go and i planted some seeds around 4-20 they all popped and some of them are looking better than most. I was wondering if anyone in here has grown in montana and what strains would be best and what they ran. Most likely there will be no one in here from Montana thats had an outdoor grow so i would like to hear from any places like northern cali, Colorado, or even Michigan. Just let me know what strains you grow for a shorter season or anything you might feel would be useful. Alright so on to the strains i have started one budha cheese, 2x Northern Lights nirvana, 1x Mk Ultra, 1x mkage, 2x herijuana, 2x royal purple kush, 1x La confidential, 1 chemdog and 1 superlemon haze, I think i may be missing one or two photoperiod plants I know theres a good chance the superlemon haze and chemdogs wont be totally finished unless we have a warm fall. I have like ten autos started also 2 auto ak, 2 big devil, 2 fast bud, 2 pakistany ryders and a barnys auto blue mammoth. For my Medium im just gonna go with some Roots Organic 707 with some worm castings and other stuff added to it in 45 gallon smart pots each plant will have its own pot. The autos will go in 3 gallon smart pots. This is my first outdoor grow and like when i started my indoor and really got into it spending every extra penny on my indoor setup. Now i have already invested like 700 bucks just on soil pots and a 250 gallon water tank. Anyone with some advice and what strains your grow for higher elevations.
