Just curious...I've pretty much been running exclusively Linux for about 5 years now. Ran RedHat for 2 weeks when I initially moved away from Windows, switched to Gentoo right after that but since migrated to Ubuntu about 2 years ago. Anyone else?

For one, you don't have to buy it. Linux is open source, free and freely shared. :)

However, that being said, I keep one machine dual boot Windows-Linux because there is still a lot of software out there that really only works well in Windows, even with an emulator.

Tri-boot - Windows XP, Backtrack, Kubuntu. I only keep windows for work applications that I just absolutely cannot make work with VM or Wine..

Hey, how is the Kubuntu working out for you? I really wanted to give that a try because I FAR prefer the KDE gui and workspace to Gnome. But when Dave last tried it, it was just kludgey all the way around.

I'm digging it, if you're going to try again go for the KDE 4 Remix, I recently upgraded and they've made great improvements in speed and stability from KDE 3. Gnome just doesn't cut it for me..
