Any idea what's wrong?, tried diagnosing it myself.

Thought my plants have Borons deficiency, Think I'm wrong or I just haven't treated it right.

Basically, thought they had borons deficiency because my humidity was way to low, treated the humidity problem about 2 days ago. They still aren't looking to great. I removed some of the brown if it was covering the anti leaf in an attempt to save the leaf, which in hindsight probably wasn't the best idea

The humidity is good now, at around 40% was before at 19% after moving my grow space; caused the humidity to be lower.

Is it Boron's?, or is it something else?, new growth doesn't appear to be showing anything but lower growth seems to be developing more after me trimming some away?. :s

Erm. 24/0 for 3 weeks from Seed, onced reached maturity at around 3-4weeks (capable of being put into flower). I changed the lights to 12/12.

I've never seen/heard of a plant at that young of an age having any Boron issues. Cutting the damaged parts off isn't helping you out at all, it's just stressing the plant out. Also, you cut off the damaged parts l..so we can't even see the problem to diagnose it! Just out of curiosity, why are you doing a 12/12 so soon into their lifespan?

Hey Marylou, just so you know; Boron deficiency is a super uncommon problem to have. I've never heard of low humidity causing a deficiency..where did you hear that?

Hey sorry for the late reply, I've just gotten home. Okay, basically this guy said do 24/0 from seed for 4 weeks until they reach maturity and e.g. be able to flower and then put them on 12/12 basically from seed. I've seen his grow and no joke (best grow I've ever seen) for a smaller grow. I wanted to experiment with size also. http://www.growweedeasy.com/boron-deficiency-cannabis

thats the link where I read about Borons D and humidity linked creation of the problem . Also, in one of the photos you can see a small mark where I didn't trim it away, imagine that further around the leafs. I've flushed it etc. I honestly don't think its the soil, but I could do with adding some organic matter. Might have to re-pot; I don't think thats causing the problem. Cheers any advice Maggs or anyone else?

First of all boron like all micro nutrients will show on new growth first. So if your new growth looks fine and not brown and twisted it's not boron.

Second of all, you have a couple tiny yellow spots on a leaf... Not a major issue. If you persist you will create an issue where there isn't one.

I would just make sure that you are giving them what they need to thrive, which is adequate light, i would do 18 hours a day and water when needed. It's good that you care, but I wouldn't stress too much on a couple of little spots like that. Let them do their thing and if the issue doesn't clear up, then do some more research. They don't need full strength nutrients at this point, so make sure if you are feeding them that it's a diluted mixture.

What kind of soil do you have them in MaryLou?
