Any Idea What's Happnin Here ?

Hi ya fellas

This is not my issue , But i wanted to just show the difference between My Grow and my friends .

Same strain ... Same nutes .... Temps are around normal ...Tent grow .

He has not long moved home , And since being in the new place anything he flips to 12/12 starts to turn yellow ....Not only that ... but some of his plants just shrivle and die .

He's been growing for years and normaly turns out decent bud but hes really struggling atm and cant figure out why ?

I thought N deficient with a bit of nute burn or PH ... but we have looked at all of them and adjusted everything ..and still the same happens

I gave him some Mono Nitrogen to try with them and see how that goes , Hes not useing too much nutes ( same as me ) ... PH is the same as mine 5.7 - 5.9
The only real differnce is hes growing in a tent ... any ideas ?

Phosphorus or Pottasium Def it looks like, Im going by the yellowish leaves with dark green margins. It doesnt seem to bad though. In flower some leaves yellow and die. Maybe his grow faster and use up more nutes quicker than yours IDK.

Not for sure, but a couple of the pics looks like he might have mites??????????

Yeah the " yellowish leaves with dark green margins " is how it starts and more or less within a week or 2 of flipping ... The thing is ... he uses exactley the same nutes as me , Infact im going by his recomended schedual .... it seems odd that we both grow the same plant with the same everything ( except the tent ) and his turn like that in a week or so .

He has ( as you can see ) trimmed off a lot of foliage .. he swears by it ... i'm still not convinved so im leaving mine till very late on untill i think the lower buds are struggling for light .... think that might be causeing it ?

Hi ya

I checked really hard for mites and found nothing , The lighter ( dot's ) you can see are where the yellowing is about to start forming i think ... or could be the cam .... But i did look for mites and found nothing .

I dont do the trimming either. It could be caused from that. With low humidity during flower, your plants will feed from their foliage to keep it going. Its like running a v8 ingine with only 4 cylinders working. Its gonna die sooner or later. I would say if thats the only diff and your temps match up and everything,,,,,than its because hes trimming his plant. This is just my opinion.

Theres definately a deficiency going on though. since hearing about the yellow dots and tips, Im going with a lack of N because of flower, a phosporus def and plant abuse.

He's been useing the same routine for years ( One of them hardline STICK TO IT EVEN IF ITS WRONG ! Types ) Since i have been growing and learning i have tryed to ease hime towards not doing it and doing things a bit diffrent ( he's a Cash Cropper and don't really care as long as it produces bud ... lol but i care and would like to see him with healthy looking plants ) He's bending slightly so i might try and get him to leave one plant with some foliage and see if that turns the same ?

Thanks SBS .... i will pass on the " Phosphorus or Pottasium Def " and see if that can make a diffrence if he can ballence it up

It's great for me ... kind of like Student turns master lol .... but i do want to understand and learn from HIS problem for future refrence

yea tell him to run a plant with no trimming and see what happens. Hes gonna be salty if your right....hahaha I could be wrong but Id bet on the phos and potasiium def.

hes a salty fuck most of the time anyways lol

I left him with some Nitrogen (17%) and he is gonna feed with less nutes and pop som N in there to see what happens . I think it's safe to say that the ones in the pick are beyond repair now ... but he has a rotation goin now so i will see if i can get him to do two or three different as a side by side and just watch and see what happens
