Any growers near Vancouver WA willing to help out a fellow patient?

I just started growing and looking for some advise and help from someone local. Sites such as this are great, but person would also be a great option. I'd love to gain knowledge and possibly help out in any way. We can even trade clones or whatnot, once I get those going. I'm on my first grow now, from seeds, about 30 days in.

Thank you

Hey babakh20

I'm not in your area I'm over here on the north east side of the state. I just wanted to say welcome to the mmj growing community here in WA. I've been growing for about 5 years now. Although, I cannot be their to guide you personally I would love to offer you some advice.

100% organic is the way to grow. More specifically true living organics. If you want to grow top self quality meds with very little learning curve TLO is how its done. As you are starting out I would look into subcool420 super soil. He has done a lot of work on this site. There is a ton of q&a info on here from subcool himself. For a quick start there is a company premixing the super soil and selling it under the name T.G.A. Green Avenger Super Soil. Ultimately I would suggest mixing you own but, I have used the premix and it does work.

TLO is the easiest way to grow quality meds. All the work is done in the beginning while mixing your soil. You don't have the fuss of pH, measuring out different bottled nutrients, trying to figure out what to add and when. Although, I do like to incorporate beneficial teas into my grow. Do a YouTube search for " koma style Benni tea" that's what I use.

Once you get a grow under your belt start researching true living organics. There is a ton of info on this and other forums. Autoflower.net has a great section on TLO. Also Teaming With Microbes is great read a on the subject if you are interested in learning more about how and why TLO is as effective as it is.

All this of course is one man's oppinion. However, I was never truly happy with the quality of what I was growing until I made the switch to TLO. I wish somebody was there to give me this advice when I first started.

I totally forgot to mention the book True Living Organics by The Rev. Also if you have for basic questions about grow room design, lighting, or any of that type stuff feel free to message me.

Oh man, I'm not sure if I saw your post before but I wish I would have had this info before I started growing. I couldn't agree with you more about TLO gardening. I'm just finishing up the book Teaming with Microbes and have been researching beneficial bacteria and fungi. I actually picked up some of that TGA along with some amendments. Right now I am finishing up the couple plants in my first grow which aren't organic. Unfortunately I may have to shut down the indoor grow for a couple months to get rid of these mite I've been battling. Once I start back indoor, I'll use all organics. In the meantime, I'm planning on growing a few outdoors where I've also been playing around with the beneficial soil life :)
