I’ve been making cartridges for quite some time using distillate and cannabis terpenes. But I’d like to cross over into the world of live resin, rosin, and cbd mixtures. I’m curious about ratios and diluant agents. I currently use a non flavored non scented terpene as my cutting agent for better viscosity. So realistically my cartridges are only thc and terpenes. Nothing else. Moreso, I’m worried about rosin and how the wax will react in one and whether it will clog the holes or or interact with the coil. I just upgraded my closed loop to extract 10 lbs at a time because I’d much rather be making full spectrum vapes rather than thc alone.

I love my pen but I hate the price of cartridges. Going to learn to make my own.

I’ve seen many videos and am reading about it now.
I’ve seen the terpine additives etc.
I don’t have a rosin press so what do I use for a base? An alcohol distallate? What other methods? I’m not really comfortable with using Butane

A short path distillation set up isn’t cheap at all. At my current size it’s still cheaper for me to just buy distillate. But I live in Portland where that’s easy to do.

How do you turn rosin into a cartridge??

There are liquid terpenes sold that you can stir in with some mild heat.

The only issue is that halfway through a cartridge the waxes will clog the coil. Diluted or not. So realistically you need to dewax your rosin which defeats the purpose of rosin because you have to introduce hydrocarbons even if it’s just ethanol.
