Any difference between activated charcoal and carbon?

if they were the same thing, The're wouldnt be two names. I know for sure that activated charcoal will eliminate odors better than pretty much anything. A good air filter is a defender 360 by filter queen. its a 1000.00 bucks but its the best. 3 times more filtration than a hepa filter, with a activated charcoal filter wraped around it. lifetime warranty, change filter 1 or 2 times a year

thats insane.. $1000? not trying to spend that kind of money, plus im pretty sure they are both the same thing.. i guess ill find out, right?

true story.. it seems like "activated" is referring to its ability for adsorption, and any media with that property SHOULD work out, I'd imagine.. the shit i got is for aquarium filters and its hella cheap.. maybe ill start crankin out these carbon scrubbers for you guys if its a primo set up.. .theres really no reason to pay a g for one... and then theres really no reason i shouldnt be getting paid g's to make em 8^)
