Anxiety helper

Could anyone name off some strains for me that totally diminish or almost taking away all of the anxiety. I've always had a bad history of Being nervous about things. I want to try something new and that's helpful. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Some strains tend to work for some people and some strains work for other people. It's a matter of finding what does it for you. I believe Indicas would be the best strains. Maybe try some lower THC strains. If your anxiety is real bad you might not get total relief. You should try looking into some other techniques such as yoga, breathing exorcises, etc. GL

Thanks! I'm gonna try some new stuff here pretty soon and see if I get a different feel. :eyesmoke:

I had anxiety for bit especially when it comes to MJ I found that taking small hits and letting it hit you a little at a time pretty much has removed any and all anxiety feelings regardless of the strain. I used to be a Indica only smoker thinking that it's the best way to medicate and not worry. Now I can toke anything as long as I start small. Hope this helps you!

Hey buddy, with so many strains out there its difficult - can I suggest you browse a website like http://cannacentral.com/ to discover all kinds of strains that are widely available & how they generally affect the users. Once you like the sound of a few you can dig deeper from there. The strain of course is what really determines the different effects...but bear in mind the timing you choose to harvest affects the THC & CBN levels which has something to with anxiety as well as curing the buds for a minimum period. Maybe someone can confirm this because im no expert & planning my own first grow ;) good luck

hey whispering buds i have nothingto add on the cannabis part since everyone here has giving good ideas and strains

but if youre looking to beat anxiety, theres much more to it than marijuana
marijuanan consumption is a GREAT help but there are other factors you need to work on,
I suffered from extremely bad generalized anxiety disorder to the point i couldnt leave my house, and ive been anxiety free for 2 years now,
you should pass me a message and i can help you in other areas of beating this terrible terrible illness

How about a thread Sunni? I think there are more of us out there who would like that information than you know.
I agree with the creating a thread for this. I had a anxiety/panic attack meltdown last year about this time. I was out of work for over a month and after several trips to the hospital within that month the doctors concluded it was generalized anxiety with panic attacks. They prescribed me xanex for maintenance, and lorazapam for the panic attacks. Problem is I got insomnia then headaches which lead to a pill for this pill and that pill till I finally said fuck this im going back to weed. I titrated off the meds and have been slowly medicating with mary. So far ive tried strawberry cough-great for the day, blue widow-too speedy for me, blackberry kush-great for night relief, and I got some strawberry dlite, royal highness, and double bubbleberry finishing up in about a week. So currently im in search of the holy grail for day and night relief from anxiety. I agree with
it taking more then just weed, its a lifestyle overhaul for sure. Ill chime in to help my brothers and sisters out anytime. Peace!

I to battle anxiety with panic attacks if not kept under control. Meds from the doc got the panic attacks under control but caused other probs. There are going to be other factors that have to come into play to keep anxiety under control like: understanding what anxiety is (keiser offers a great group therapy that educates you on anxiety). In that class the biggest piece that stuck out to me is: anxiety is your natural physiological response to danger! If you stress out for to much for to long your anxiety system takes over. So conclusive to that you have to create a game plan to keep your stress levels down. This can include alot of things (exercise, reading, yoga, mary jane). Just do your best to create a balance, and dont over exert yourself! As far as the weed strains go check out Medicann, on my next crop im going to try there trainwreck, blue bud-(og kush/blueberry), and cheese from either big budda or homegrown fantaseeds. I want one for day time and one for night use.

Mandala seeds Satori and Female Seeds - Lemon kush. One Sativa and the 2nd is an indica, but they both provide anti-anxiety relief. I think a good hash plant would do well for you also, :peace:
