Would it be okay to grow a few plants in a huge wooden cabinet?? is it a bigger fire hazard because its wood? does it matter? I know its kind of a stupid question but i needa know everything before i start

Depends on the heat generated by your lights, and your electrical wiring prowess.


.... wood can mold if too humid....

Wood is usually pretty safe. Its cardboard that really gets me worked up. My cloning/seedling chamber and veg cabinet are made of wood, as it my entire house.

He said the wood box is huge, so grow away!!!! Yes higher fire hazard than concrete.

Wood easily molds, but you should be okay if proper care is taken.

What are some good precautions to take to prevent molding man?

Keep your humidity under control and you should be fine, i avoid anything above 50pct but i know some run higher then that
