is it possible to like make a cube of enriched soil instead of rockwool? as this craps sold no where, so could i squeeze like a handfull of oil into a cube, and have that work?
If the cube is compacted tight like you said you are going to do the roots won't be able to break thru and the plant will die. Best thing would be to make newspaper cubes, make a cube out of newspaper and fill it with soil.
