Plants are really building flower now, hoping to harvest a few of these within the next 4 weeks or so. I'll be covering them up when the rain sets in here soon. Pics from a few days ago.

Greenhouse plants are gonna be mid to late Oct I suspect. This is the first year I've been able to keep em out of the rafters. I dropped the soil height in my pots by 6", probably 65 gal in the 100s. I'm really liking the size of these plants, very manageable.

Chopped all of my autos, they turned out stonier than I would have thought. The Quarter Pounder from Canuk is really impressive. No popcorn all large buds 2 3/4oz in 83 days. Smells and taste great, smooth and most of all potent. The high reminds me a lot of WW, gonna have a few of these in the gardens next year.
Didn't get a harvest shot...:peace: SD
I thought getaway mountains strains were early finishers? Oregon diesel I harvested on Sept 1st pulled 8 oz dry nothing amazing but its all I got before I got robbed.

They are earlier than most strains I've grown by 2 to 3 weeks, I'll take it. We shall see about the mold resistance as that is the biggest draw for me with these strains. I obviously didn't pull any early phenos that I see pics of here on RIU.

Got the girls covered and the fans going, hopeful that I can stretch this out before shit starts happening.
Been rain and showers for the last 3 or 4 days, and have a few more before some forecasted sunny weather.

I've got just the lightest little hint of PM forming on some lower leaves on my Blackcherry soda- the other two plants are totally clean. I sprayed the affected areas with hydrogen peroxide and cut off a few of the most affected leaves. So the battle begins

I haven't seen any PM, but I'm expecting botrytis for sure. I get sick of the hour upon hour of bud inspection after the chop of an affected plant. So far only seen a few small spots on the R2 poison but I know there is more.

Also, the rain seems to have kept the moth action down as I haven't found any more leaves with eggs. Maybe it's just because they're enclosed

Great Photos! I think as long as we can keep the PM off with preventative measures, we'll be good through october. My strians have a little further as well. I use to grow medical and this will be my 5th run outdoors here In Portland. I've lost plants to budrot, PM, catapillers, mites, and catapiller poop. I've finally got a system and it's worked so far, I sprayed my plants with Azamax, and some catapiller repellent throughout the summer and I can't find any traces of spider mites or catapillers anywhere, I've pre treated them forge beneficial streptomyces and we will see how that goes. As long as we keep them covered from the rain I think we'll make it. It's going to get back in the 80's next week and that will help them regain their strength, I'm excited to see some color start to show from these low temps

Getting close to harvest, had to cut the R2 Poison because of botrytis. Even though it got whacked early it is some really stoney shit. One of the Poison Warps is coming down soon, I've removed a half dozen affected tops. The Island Afghani has tuned into a real beast and is actually showing better resistance than the others. I need probably 3 weeks more for it.

Getting close to harvest , think about one week, possibly 2.
folks around here seem to be getting seedy plants, must be someone that doesn't know what they're doing, or do they?

I have found a very random sprinkling of seeds deep in the base of a few top colas as I'm inspecting for rot. I'm certain they came from some fucktard in the area that knows shit about growing pot. Must have been early on because the seeds are dark and fully developed... Who's your daddy?

Slow, maybe you need to open up the Fucktard Seed Company, and name your top-shelf strain, Who's You Daddy? Folks will buy anything if you charge enough. Set you price at $175 for a 10 pack, and give RIU members a real deal at $150 a pack. You will make some soil money at least.

Just about to the finish line. Really love the buzz from all of Getaways strains. The last PW and the IA are just about where i would like them. The R2 Poison is great smoke, just needed another couple weeks to be perfect.
Chopping the last Poison Warp and the Island Afghani in stages over the next few days.
We've had some great weather lately for Oct, but the end has come.

Genius idea my friend...:bigjoint:
I've now found a sprinkling of seed in all of my raised bed girls...if I only knew.

I've found around 5 seeds on my cherry pie. Its known to hermie when stressed, so I'm guessing it popped a few while I went on a topping spree.

Are Hermie seeds stable? I only grow from clone so my knowledge of seeds is lacking.

After having a plant hermie I did a bunch of reading about it, and as with everything cannabis related, there are lots of varied stories, theories, and undoubtedly misinformation out there.

The only hermie seeds I have experience with were from what I was told was a "true" hermie -- not the little "banana" pollen things that push out of buds, but actual full male flowers growing alongside female flowers -- and I'm not sure if that makes a difference. For us it was a godsend, since the plant that hermied was the last one we had from a strain from an unknown origin that was one of our favorites (long story). All of the seeds that I germinated from that plant have popped, all were healthy plants, and ALL were females. That was in 2015 and I've got a few of those in my current indoor, we're still growing it. Since we don't know what it is we call it Mystery, and we'll be sad when they're all gone.

That's just one experience though, I have no idea if we were very lucky or that is a common occurrence. One factor in whether or not you have viable seeds is how early in the grow the pollination happened, seeds take a while to mature on the plant.

Seeds from a hermie plant will either be female or hermie. The trait can be passed on. I've had strains hermie from stress that never did it again, and I've had strains that would have as many as 20% hermies. If you have the space, pop a few and find out.
