he is no longer a member of this site - he was banned afaik...

I'm open to your opinions Bricktop, but you have yet to show me any kind of evidence or reasoning behind your dislike for TGA Subcool seeds, or even attempt to tell us why you do not like them...

I have never heard Sub say he breeds more for taste. Sub breeds for dank, not quanity. He demands his beans taste great and get your head right.
Sub's seeds are very very good, but not elite in terms of strength IMO. It's the flavors that makes them very desirable. I don't think I've ever seen a sub strain test above 20%, but between 14-19%. That is better than most bud out there, but not elite. Personally, I'm a huge fan of supremely good tasting high quality bud though, so I'll keep growing them.

Vortex tears my shit up, and I've been smoking for a LONG time! It does yield on the low side but I'm working on that issue. The taste, the smell and the bag appeal are all top notch though. It's about the easiest plant to grow that I've come acrossed and it roots really fast as well. Vortex is my first TGA strain but with the results I got from it I doubt it will be my last.:weed:
I'm 5 weeks into flowering on my first vortex grow. Looks amazing so far! Can't wait. I put one pineapple express in the same tray since it's a strain I've grown a lot and I can compare to you. So far it seems like it is only a little behind the p-express in terms of resin production, but not much. The vortex is definitely giving me fatter buds and looks like it will finish at least a week earlier. I couldn't pick which smells better, but are a 10/10 in that category.

You're just not finding the right pheno's there are plenty over the 20% threshold, I even think there is a querkle that hit 24%. I'll look for the lab report.

Interesting. So the high thc phenos are out there, just really rare. I've seen a lot of TGA strains at dispensaries and I've never seen out top 20%. I guess it's a matter of just ordering enough seeds to have a good chance at one of those phenos.

My neighbor has an extremely potent pheno of pandora's box. it has to be over 20%, its a smaller plant but its just caked in resin, absurd production. i want a clone.

Like any other strain that is worth a damn, selection is the key and its always in the eye of the grower. Like wise, when selecting for a male, most notable breeders run at least 50 seeds, minimum. I dont believe it is rational to think that because you buy 5 or 10 seeds you are going to land 5 to 10 "elite pheno's"....It's hard to argue the potency of tga subcool. The proof is and always has been in his pudding. TGA walks the talk, anytime he will put his bud up to the test and put his money where his mouth is. More so, they have a list of followers that is second to none, that is not something that happens by chance or by marketing. It happens because people know the Truth :)

So what is interesting is that even after one is supplied with all the proof in the world, they still take the stance of a tool with some form of negativity because of pre-assorted biased agendas. If you have some higher "more commonly found high thc elite pheno's" just feel free to let us all know and we will take an honest review of your evidence :) Im not saying it cant or has'nt happened, but for the most part, in this industry, there is an over abundance of people talking, talking, talking, but not offering one bit to back the flab coming from their lips.

Just picked up my Ace of spades seeds at the high times medical cannabis cup. been growing jilly bean, vortex, jack ripper and Quazy train... nice growing strains... will have finished pics in a few weeks.
