Another grow with LM-561c lights

Budies 101

I'm not really after making grow logs as for some reason it's just not interesting to me. When I started doing LED builds one thing I wanted to see was 'can they finish" and also wanted to know what it took to compete with a 1000watt HPS, nanolux in my case.

I have a few grower friends and when I talked about LED I could see on their face INSTANTLY that they didn't think highly of LED grows. I would try to politely explain that unless you have a DIY rig you are growing with super low end cobs/diodes. To explain this I would say the diode or CoB is like the bulb in a HPS light... you can have a great fixture but if you buy a 30$ 1k watt bulb it's simply won't get you the same as the current best 100-200$ range bulbs. I would tell them that me running a 170+ lum/watt diodes with great spectrum and so on is something they simply put have never ever seen. Still, I would be met with a smile and a "we'll see."

At this point people have seen my stuff, I'm a very mid level grower and like most I'm always willing to try things that can make me better, but of course it's a slow process due to how long it takes to get from clone/seed to cured dried bud. So I simply want to share end results for those that might want to see what a mid level grower can achieves with this level of LED lights.

I start my flower at about 120watts a light, so my efficiency is obviously higher, and thats good but I do it because at full blast I'd burn my plants from what I have seen. My lights are 365watts max despite the driver only being I believe a 320watt driver (don't know how this is possible.) I run my lights up to 300watts max in the last 2 weeks of flower, slowly working my way up.

First pic is for reference of the lights as it was an older grow with a different strain. The lights are 8inch by 42 inch long I believe, or close to that, been awhile so whatever it does not matter. 4 lights cover in my grow area of 5x10. Max watts ins 1200watts, starting wattage is 480watts.

This grow was a bit small on yields because it was the first time I grew either strain on a larger scale and I focus on the quality over quantity.
