Another DWC grow. LED this time.

Well, here are the plants. After I use these seeds up I plan to buy feminized seeds. The 2 are 18 days into veg and the 3rd is only 8 days in. I ran into a heat problem a few days ago, but I think I have it sorted out. I plan to try LST to see if I can get a bigger yield.
pH = 5.5
ppm = 340
nutes = Pure Blend Pro
Lights = 2 - 300 watt full spectrum LED
I have a couple questions though. Would 18 days be considered full veg where I can up the nutes to around 450 to 700? Also, I have Liquid Karma, but I've read a lot of bad things about it. Is it worth giving a try? I used some on the last grow but have nothing to go off of to know if it had benefits or not. The plant on the left looks like it could use some more food and I'm using meters this time around to make sure I'm not going overboard on the nutes. Just need to know if 450 - 700 is a good number to go for at this point in the grow. I know different strains need different ppm's. I'd just like a ballpark guess of what to aim for. The roots haven't popped through the bottom of the pot on the seedling yet. Strange. The leaves on the 2nd node of the left plant looked like they had a calcium def. It stopped and hasn't spread, so I guess it's OK? Spotted rust color. Roots look good though. No slime or algae or anything I can see. Almost forgot, the 2 bigger plants are random free Nirvana seeds. The little one is AK48.

the plant will tell you what they need, if the EC is dropping then they can take a bit more. Up it until you find the balance. Always take note of what the plant wants, never just go with feeding charts.

Are you running Sterile or Benifical bacteria?

I'm going sterile this time around. I found a good spot at 410 ppm and 5.5 pH. They seem healthy so far on day 23. I want to veg these out for at least another 3 weeks. If they both turn out male then this was a huge, kind of expensive waste of time. Investing in feminized seeds is the way to go I think.
I tied these two down a bit to get some more branching. Kind of scared that they'll snap if I bend them any more.

The fan is blowing pretty strong in there, so the leaves look a bit all over the place on the right plant.

Have you thought about topping?

I topped a plant on my last grow and I was quite happy with the results (even though I flowered too early). The only worry I have with topping is that I read it can stress the plant to the point it might turn hermie. That's why I thought I would give LST a try. There was a small fan in there that worked at first and a bit later just didn't do it. I started to get a heat buildup if I didn't open it up every once and a while, so I put a bigger fan in and set it on the lowest setting while making some openings for more air to get in without light leaking out. It just needs to be raised up a bit or tilted so it isn't blowing directly on the plants. It's a tight squeeze, but I can fit in there this weekend and clear some things to make this easier on me. I have about 5 1/2 feet of vertical space for the plants to grow, so I was thinking I would do LST and grow them kind of big and more horizontally to get a yield that is more worth the time and money I put into it.

Fiming is your best bet for your setup. Topping can cause stress but very rarley will it turn your plant hermy. Fim at about 3 weeks then again about two weeks into flowering. This will not only keep your plant a little bit shorter but also make it very bushy thus giving you more bud sites per plant. Ive fimed every plant ive grown for the past two years and never had a stress problem. Your plant will stop growing vertical for about 3 days but other then that its very easy to pull of.

Try giving it a calmag supliment if it could use more food, LED plant's eat that stuff up!
If you do supliment it as your extra ppms I would also scrooch your PH up a bit to ~5.8 to make the best use of the nutes.
I use CALiMAGic with my plant under a 300w reflecter LED and it is really happy now that it is getting what it wanted.
CAL-MAG+ will also work but has an NPK of 2-0-0 so dial other nutes back accordingly (if you need to).

gtran - I think I may have come too far to FIM these 2. They're growing really fast. I'm actually starting to think that going the extra 3 weeks might be too much. Just have to see what they look like in another week. Skizors - I'll definitely pick up some CAL/MAG. Still haven't heard if using Liquid Karma is good or not. Not sure if I should toss out the little bottle I have. Here are the plants at day 28 though. Some of the lower bits aren't getting much light. A small trimming may be in order.

If you are tooo far in for the for the FIM, you can always try to LST them a bit for more surface area, but if the stems are too thick there is always supercorpping!

Well, damn. I checked on the plants just now and they look to be growing male preflowers. It's very hard to tell yet and I might just be paranoid, but they sure look like males to me. I have to go to work soon so I MIGHT be able to get a good close up later tonight if I'm not too tired.

Nirvana is IMO the best place to buy feminized/autos. Because they are guaranteed. If they arent fem or dont germinate they will send you another batch. I dont like fucking with plants that aren't going to necessarialy be fem... waste of time and space IMO.

What's free in Colorado? Seeds? I live a few hours away from a cannabis shop, but they didn't sell seeds. In fact, it was ungodly expensive for just a joint of some grape sativa they had. It was pretty good, but not CLOSE to what it was worth. The tax is so high that it makes it cheaper to buy on the street (which I refuse to do again). I haven't been to Colorado in a while, so the price may have changed.
The post when I said America sucks...I had just watched "The Culture High" documentary (which I recommend to everyone), and the invasion video brought me to tears. I've seen the DEA pull horrible shit and I know one that had a meth lab in his house. Might still have one for all I know. They've done permanent psychological damage to me when I was a teenager. Brutality, theft, false charges, sexual assault. So I get emotional when it comes to the so-called "freedom" in this country. All the while they take a good chunk of my paycheck to pay for things that I never got to vote for.
Anyways, the plants are growing like mad. Still can't be 100% if they're male. I want to flip to 12/12 to find out before I waste a bunch more electricity. That and I can find out sooner and order some fem seeds if I need to at this point.
