seems like all the other nute companies have a thread going. figured it would be a good idea to get an AN thread going for any guys looking into their products or having some troubles with them. feel free to post any comments or questions here and we'll try and make it a collective sharing environment. i've been using them for almost 6 years now. i only use them in hydro setups though cause i have a different nutrient i like in soil more now. plus i'm mostly organic in soil. i'll try and help with any questions as best i can but let's get some of the other experienced AN guys in here too.

if you have a negative comment about AN then feel free to post it as well. but let's try and keep the hating out. if you ran into problems with some of their products then cool...but if you wanna talk shit about their prices or how big mike is a clown (agree!) then go elsewhere please. thanks.

I really like to use Jungle Juice because it's so cheap. Any nutrients will do the trick if you adjust pH and start small, work your way up. But the Jungle Juice has served me well the past several grows. It does seem to require a cal-mag style additive in late flower though, but that could be strain-specific?

nice backyard. if you like to experiment hit me up sometime. i've got a coco recipe that is amazing and super cheap. just house and garden coco a & b nutes and alaska humisoil tea. use a feed, tea, feed, tea schedule. really rocking plants. my buddy introduced me to it and that's what i use for soil or coco now.

nice, they'll start beefing up soon for sure. probably got a few more than 3 weeks left. i've never tried that straing but does it normally only go 6 weeks? that's really fast.

yea, my buddy who turned me on to the alaska humisoil tea uses canna 2 part and the tea in coco. really great stuff.

it says its a 70 day from seed, but it got stunted a bit and its somewhat showing now, its the double diesel ryder from sargarmarth, pretty nice one, would of had 4 going but dog at 2 sad but got 2 going now about a week n half apart. one is around 50 days from seed the other is just about at 40. really good strain imo gave one to a buddy and his should almost be dont but hes got a bigger space with more light so his is bigger then mine, but im not going to go by what the seed say im just going to take that into consideration on when to start flushing or keepign an eye on them for when they start to rippen. first time auto grow so everything pretty much is learn as you go.

as for that tea where would i be able to get that or could you pm me the coco recpie. i might branch off of that.going from 2 plants now 3 soon to be at 8 once i get more funds for a bigger space.

here's the link for the tea (http://www.bountea.com/result.php?catid=2). some of the hydro stores are selling it now too like greners and monster gardens. basically all you would need is the humisoil (20lb) and the bioactivator (5lb). That will make 200 gallons of tea. you brew the tea in a 5 gallon bucket and then dilute in water at a 9-1 ratio. then you just feed your plants a&b nutes with no additives. the schedule is feed, tea, feed, tea. just like that. really cheap and easy to make. you can even get into the M3 and B3 additives for veg and flower. i've just started using the B3 and i'm seeing a nice difference vs. the last crop.

yo yo whats up scooby, seems like im starting to become a dedicated follower of yours haha,
my first question is, what do u mean by ur a "mostly" organic grower?

im also a organic soil grower, and personally, ill never ever go back to hydro, dont get me wrong, i know theres master hydro growers out there( I BY NO MEANS WAS ONE), but thru out my 13 years smokin, hydro herb CANT even be compared to organic soil herb.

anywayz on to the subject,
i use mostly general organics, and mix them into my AACT teas, kelp, mollasses, cal mag, catalyst, microblast(earth juice) and my secret ingredient(california humus, shhh dont tell no one!) and of course worm casting, soo far ive been havin great results, my only real problem is when i run scrog, its harder for me to keep track of my runoff PH. do u use soil ph testers? i know the cheap ones dont work, i invested in a blue lab combo and got a soil probe with it, soo far its ok, but not on point for sure, an examplewould be my true oakland og is readin 6.3 but my runoff was at 6.7, i wonder if there really is a legit accurate soil ph tester out there?
I use happy frog, and for the most part it tends to lower in ph(peatmoss), sometimes randomly, so i geuss my quesiton is, how do u keep track of your ph with your organic methods? do u add dolmite lime to ur soil mix? or do u raise ur ph or lower for every feeding/watering?

also have u tried or heard of vital earth?
im currently trying thIer OG mix and its good, im thinking of dumping out general organic and swithing to vital earth nutrient line.]
i talked to one of the owners and i love how they talk about being sustainable and organic! theyre all about fair wages and sustainablity which too me is a HUGE PLUS!

hey forever. glad to see you over here.

for soil i run sunshine #4 with worm castings. i also brew an alaska humisoil tea but i use house and garden 2 part soil nute. so i'm partially organic. i could switch to canna but organic nutes in a bottle seems like an oxymoron to me and i know h&g so i've just stuck with them. i've also run their coco lineup in b-cuzz coco with great results. i just like a soiless medium better.

i have a bluelab soil pH meter and it works great. i never bought into testing pH runoff. not sure why. i did some reading on the subject and it seemed that testing the runoff was not entirely accurate for a number of reasons. i really don't have many pH issues ever since i started using teas. they seem to keep the pH fluctuations to a minimum. i used to use lime but since i sitched to humisoil tea my pH has stabilized. i follow a feed, tea, feed, tea schedule. if you are chasing pH though then dolmite lime will definitely help. just remember to dial back or remove your cal/mag as lime contains both.

I use bud igniter, big bud, overdrive, and bud candy. I also have some leftover liquid carboload which i use for the first 2 weeks of 12/12 and then i use bud candy. I think after this run im sticking with mainly big bud and over drive. Ive tried bud blood and didnt see any difference with plants i used without it. I used bud igniter and started seeing burns using half strength.

I really love the bud blood product i use once at 12 12. My plants seem to flower faster harder and just shine more. Is the a bud blood knock off product out there, because holy the price on that. I order from canada just to get the free samples from some ebay seller. kinda getting paranoid i guess cause i aint order shit anymore. Id rather go to my local h.s., but then again some things like fans are a must online buy.

this run i went pretty big for AN. i did conni 2 part, bud ignitor, big bud, b52, sensisyme, bud candy, overdrive, budfactorX, rhynoskin, mother earth tea, voodoo juice.

whats up with the nirvanna? whats in that stuff?

also i was getting a little deficiency about half way through.. i think it was too much nitrogen.. was thinking this was caused by using b52 half strength with the conni? i dropped it down to 2ml per gallon and everything seemed to go back to normal. i cant seem to get my plants to want anywhere near full strength with the big bud, im doing about 3ml per gallon and thats about all they want.

anyone had these issues?
