Thread Title: AMS aka Amsterdam Marijuana Seeds

Selection: 10 seeds of White Widow, 10 seeds of Light of Jah and 5 freebie Purple Power

Price:Too expensive to get ripped off but it cost $53 for 10 White Widow Seeds and the same for 10 Light of Jah seeds. The 5 Purple Power seeds were added free (thank god)

Service: Took a month and a half to get to me here in the US

Stealth Rating: Not discreet at all now that I've ordered from other companies like MNS and see how good they package everything. I cannot believe it wasn't detected the idiotic way AMS packaged it.

Other Comments: Out of the seeds that germinated which had 5 WW actually germed, only 4 of the LoJ germed. All of the freebie PP actually germed which actually became the saving grace of the whole fiasco with this ridiculous company. EVERY SINGLE ONE of the WW and LoJ that did germinate ended up being hermaphrodites. Every single one. Nothing bad happened during the typical average grow it just seemed these things couldn't wait to show their balls. The only saving grace was the Purple Power seeds all came thru like a champ and quite frankly has ended up being one of my favorite strains I've grown overall. That hardly makes up for the fact of how AMS reacted when I informed them of the hermie fest they ripped me off for.

Up until the order went thru they were all over me with communication, saying everything they needed to to make the sale, ie: "of course we back up our product with a 100% guarantee" blah blah

Turns out they do not back anything up. In fact they refused to even send me replacements of the ones that hermied, let alone the ones that didn't germinate. They basically told me to get bent and said all sales are final. LOL

I still have every email they sent me so if even think of ordering from this company PM me anytime and I will show you proof of what a scamming bunch of scumbags this company is. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

how did you germ your seeds?

what type of set up do you have ? is it at all possible you made your plants hermie themselves?

when you emailed the company about it were you polite or did you just go off on them calling them names? (not that that would be an excuse for bad customer service but you get more flies with honey when you talk to customer service reps)

it is of my understanding that seeds are considered "novelty" items in which you are not supposed to germinate them therefore you would void anything by doing so

I was polite until it became very clear I was ripped off Sunni. I also have a lot of experience growing, just not coming to forums about it. Again I said everything was done in a normal fashion and nothing about the grow itself was abnormal and the only time I have had a problem is with AMS. It is not my first grow if thats what you are asking.

Also what do you mean they're 'novelty' items an not supposed to be germinated? I did not order them to put in a frame an put on my fireplace, I ordered them to germinate an grow plants, which has worked out well for years until I ran into AMS. If you want to order from them be my guest. Again I have every email from them if you want to read them and see how fast they became disinterested once they realized I was calling them on their bunk seeds. Except for the Purple Power. That actually was a hidden gem to be honest.

im naturally curious about peoples scam stories theres nothing wrong with me asking questions.
no need to get defensive about it. the most questions answered the more it helps your case. right?

seeds are considered "novelty" items thats how they get away with selling them , its a niche little way of getting around the rules like how they sell bongs for "tobacco use only"
alot of times you will a disclaimer on their website saying "seeds are considered souvenirs or novelty items and are in no way to be germinated or used for growing purposes as germinating seeds is illegal in many countries blah blah "
