Me and my buddy are growing outdoors this year, we are new.

We are going to buy fem seeds from a seed shop online.

I live up in virginia we plan of planting around early april.

I was just wondering when we plant, there not going to get a full 18 hrs of sun NOR of direct sun. Dosent this put them into flowering?

Is it true that when they go into flowering they go back to veg then go back into flowering in like july or august for a september or october harvest?

It just confuses me a little bit, i quess cuz im new lol.

any help would be great

Spring is in the middle of March, most people start planting then. Each day the daylight hours increase, sending the signal to keep growing in veg. Once the light goes to 12/12 they flower.

Oh and yes they can go back into veg when the light resumes come summer time. However, the harvest takes a lot out of them and they don't *always* come back. Personally, I just chop them and harvest the whole thing. But if you want to try this, harvest no more then a third of the plant.

You will be more than fine with 6 to 8 hours of direct sunlight and afew more hours of indirect.

well you can get anywhere from 0oz-1+lb's. First off make sure you have a high yielding strain. Best way to go IMO is plant in the ground give each plant 1m2 (square meter) to have plenty of room to bush out, learn when last frost in your area is and plant after that, plant early and you should grow a nice tree by harvest time. And feed it properly of course :-P
