I'm new also, so I cant answer you yield question, but I planted some in the same pot and now I am running into problems. Please do them a favor and transplant to individual pots. I transplanted a runt outside into the ground, and the root ball was AMAZING. It was huge. You dont want them fighting each other for root space.

i plan on transplanting them, but when they grow a little bigger, ive already transplanted them from one small pot (it had 8 seeds in a 10'' pot) to individual 12 oz cups to individual pots and my parents found it so i found this tank (doesnt take up too much space) so ill wait or else ill have stunted plants (i think). i got one growing outside too. i dont want any 5 footer so, i guess small buds are alright?

nobody can give you a straight answer to this question........ if they try to, it's bullshit.... yield depends on the grower, as well as the genetics of the strain. and how big the plants are.....

Yeilds can be estimated when variables are near constant as well as in specific scenarios where identical or near identical conditions have been seen before.

so not all guesses are bullshit. however in this case he said 3 plants under 2 27 watt cfls right.

my bullshit guess is: if you can keep your parents from finding them, at most 3 grams...

Well, the lumen's are not even enough for one plant, those plants wont get big with those lights, unless you're planning on either adding more lights, or changing to HID/HPS, or moving outdoors. either way with your current set up I'd doubt they would even get into maturity... Weed ain't as easy to grow as one may think, read a lot more on it, get more lights, and you could get HUGH yields with three plants.

You need more lights for sure. That's only like 2,500 lumens for two plants, and it's not going to cover very much area. Read up in the CFL forum- there's some good sticky posts about it and tons of journals.

u too. hey its safe to keep my lights like that the entire growth?

sorry, i got distracted by bickering in another thread.......

yeah, you can leave the lights the hole time. but when you flower, you'll want more light, the more light, the denser the buds.

yeah each of those lights only put out 1300 lumens.but if i add 1 or 2 more of the same light will they be ok then? i dont have 150 bucks that i can spend freely on an hps. plus my parents will see a peak in electricity.

stockpicker: ok ill read up on it.

thanks guys

Try for 7,000-10,000 per sq ft. That's about 6 of those bulbs for one plant. You can go to Home Depo and get the y-splitters and lights for probably under $30.

In CA the power company subsidizes CFLs, so 2000 lumen lights often cost about $1.

Check out my grow if you want to see a small grow with one plant.

yeah, you should be fine....... it's just the more the better, but what you have will get the job done.
