Amnesia Haze - harvesting 4 weeks earlier than company stated?

Hi folks, this is my first grow and I was wondering if anyone could offer any input on when to chop my Amnesia Haze plant from RQS. I know there are multiple threads on how to determine if your plants are ready, and from what I've learnt it looks like they'll be coming down in no more than a week. The trichs are turning amber (15-20%) and about 30% of the hairs are brown. The breeder stated that this is a 12 week strain, and today is its 7th week of 12/12, seems quite odd no? I know that plants usually take LONGER than the breeder claims, could I just be lucky? I'm guessing it will be another week, any guesses? These pics were taken 2 days ago.

Agreed with the above it isn't ready yet, they are just getting started good. Your patience will be greatly rewarded in another 4 or 5 weeks.

Cheers guys, thanks for your inputs! This helps a great deal; patience is a new growers worst nemesis! Our only problem is with the amber trichs; I know the bud itself looks like it needs a couple more weeks, however those little mushroom shaped bitches are already turning amber- we were hoping for more of a heady sativa buzz with this plant. Why aren't my trichs and my pistils co-operating? Rep for y'all!

Some strains are just as such, I have a Sannie's Jack that is regularly going 14 to 16 weeks, but it sure is worth the wait. One question for you, are the amber trichs located in the same area on all the buds. It is not unusual in my experience to find them on pistils and some of the leaves throughout the flower or at least about the halfway mark. The best indication is the heart of the bud, just wondering I don't want you to lose your heady high but want you to get all that she has to offer.
Good Luck and thank you for the rep.
