Thanks again. Another good thread. I feel like the plant will let you know when its ripe. A ripe bud has a whole different look to it. This surely takes the guess work out of the picking process, though. Very helpful as usual.

I have some diesel that is into week 9 of flowering. No sign of amber yet. This is my first harvest. They were grown in a 95 degree attic up until 10 days ago, now they are in a great climate. Harvest now or wait??

sub this is qwerkle at day 70. would you say its a slow phenotype? and what would you say about the trichs? partly cloudy? under the 100x scope they seem to appear amber.

edit:the duplicate pic was originally blown up 400% to view the trichs but it resized it for some reason.

I have a question? I get the idea of trichs (clear/clouddy/ 30% amber), and inspecting with magnfier. My question is flowering times listed for your strains. I'm currently growing space queen and jillybean (amazing by the way) and am at approx day 60 of flowering (outdoor grow). The tichs are all clear,fully formed, but the pistols have just started turning ( you never mention pistols on this thread). According to most threads I've read you should be harvesting these strains at approx 50 to 55 days, depending on desired high. Are your flowering times based on indoor grows, and outdoor times are different. Sorry if this comes accross as a stupid question, but your imput would be greatfull.

We guess harvest times based on our experience growing each strain out multiple times.
The only way to determine proper harvest time is in this thread.
Outdoor is completely different however when it comes to days

Cannabis grows differently outdoors, indoors the light slams into 12/12 and budding starts outdoors it gradually happens.
Temps, humidity, sunny days and shady days all factor in to outdoor harvest times.

Hey sub I have a harvest coming up in 1-2 weeks, was wondering if you could give me some guidance as to when to harvest on these strains. Most are still clear at the moment:

Chernobyl
Qleaner
Apollo-13 BX
Space Bomb
JillyBean
Vortex

Do you recommend cloudy for all of them? or 1/3 amber?

Sub: I know or at least from reading your posts you mostly do indoors now. But, which do you perfer if you had the choice: idoor growing or outdoor. from some of your older posts it looks like you dabled in outdoor grows (bushs), but now you do only indoors. Is that because you have better conrol of growing conditions indoors? But nothing beats the sun.

Hello all, all though this isnt a tga strain, I was wondering what everybody thought about these trichs. How close to harvest does this look? Its PPP from nirvana, A hybrid I believe. Its on the end of the 8th week now.

WT# No One knows dude You just keep checking. 2 weeks maybe'ish. Ive had um go and go and go, grape god 12 weeker before.i see a clear trichs97% lol. Its all good im new to but this thread was old and It isnt a tga strain, You might find some nirvana growers some where else. That help alot more. Peace Always

You could harvest now (all trichs look cloudy/milky from wat I could see, w/ a few already showing some amber hues) for a more speedy type high or wait for the majority of the trichs to turn amber for the always welcome couch-lock effect instead.
Totally a matter of high preference from here on out buddy.......looks good btw!

Maybe take a sample. I say a week or two but that's becausr the whole bud looks earlier still. Check in multiple spots too with scope.Then figure when that strains taste the best at what day of flower.

In the market for a 50-100x battery microscope...anyone ever try the 420 scope? Any recommendations RIU??
