TL;DW - Neurosurgeons can see brain tumors on MRI's fairly well, but once it gets down to actual brain surgery, they have to rely on their own sense of sight and touch, rendering brain surgery extremely difficult, in that the key is to remove the cancerous cells and leave the healthy cells in tact when it's difficult to tell which is which, visually. They've discovered a protein in scorpion venom that attaches to the cancerous cells and not the healthy cells, essentially highlighting the bad stuff, making it easier to remove.
Science ftw!
