Just came home this morning from work and she was like this soil is moist but not wet

It's hard to say in a picture. There's several ways you can tell.
1. Lift the pot, if it's light, you need water, if it's heavy, you're good.
2. Buy wood skewer sticks n stick one deep in the pot, let it sit for a minute and pull it out, it will tell you if the soil has water n how deep it is.
3. Buy a meter.
4. Dig in your soul with your finger three inches deep, that'll tell you if your soul is wet or dry.

Over watered. Allow the top 10%+ of soil to completely dry between watering.

Is the only plant showing stress....The only plant in a clay pot?
Clay pots absorb water. The application rate between a clay pot and a plastic is different. The clay pot will show water stress before a plastic pot will. The plastic pot isn't absorbing excess water. There's more water content in the clay pot at the time of watering. Plus the extra weight of clay throws off measuring how wet the soil it.
Clay pots ain't the idea container for growing cannabis.

I planned on topping her once the six node popped, as for the soil it's not overwatered butbi think SouthCross may be on to something about the clay pot not being ideal because of water absorbtion

I was thinking the same thing I was hoping to get away with using the clay pot just until I could transplant it to its final plastic pot. I also have another that I think may be showing signs of N Toxicity so I flushed her with ph' d water yesterday just in case I'll post a pic rn

Transplant now into a 3 gal planter, and fill it almost to the top to the top of the rim, giving the roots as much area as possible to grow in. Clay pots will fuck with the PH of your soil, and aren't the best choice as mentioned.
Also, I don't think you have overwatered, otherwise all your leaves would be drooping big time, and that doesn't seem to be the case here.

There's absolutely no reason to flush soil, doing it to a plant this young is even more absurd. Step back, water when it's dry, let it do it's thing.
The pot isn't the issue, millions of plants grown in them without issue. If there was an issue with them people wouldn't have used them for thousands of years.
Its a simple, herbaceous, plant, not some magical lifeform that needs anything any other herbaceous plant wouldn't.

That makes so much sense to me, thanks for touching on clay pots. I Also grow non smoking flowers and herbs, the ones grown in clay are always the smallest and I don't water them any extra. Had no idea the pot was stealing the water. Maybe I should be watering the clay pots more. I always wondered why the clay pots were cheaper than the plastic anyways. Thanks for the tip to be used in more than one way!

If u buy or make a vented container and use coco ull never ever have to worry either direction...
I drill big holes w a paddle bit bottom and sides all the way up or use a laundry basket (dollar stores have em down to small size) or a milk crate and line w weed block fabric and u can water daily or wet to dry cycle and see no issue. Coco in vented or cloth pots rock...
