Am I oversized?

Hello. I’m growing two small autos in a space that’s about 25x40cm. I think is more or less 1 square foot right? For this space I bought a 120w Lm561c led quantum board. I read online that the standard is 30w/sq foot. Do you think I can dim to reach a 50w power and have good yelds? I know that the more the better, but I prefer to save energy, my space is really tiny.

Yes, dim it down, dim it down considerably, just adjust up a bit a day and if you see stress back the light back off

30w per square foot is for 12 hours of light, for 24 hours even less.

Keep temps up, and look for unhappy plant signs. Generally people overdo on led lights rather than under do

If youre running it soft, 50w with a heatsink i doubt if you have to worry about that.
