hey all, first of all I would like to announce that i am indeed a newbie and have been really impressed with everybodys imput on this site. Please send back ANY input, positive or negative. So ive been growing for a few weeks now (near 3) I only have one seed but am taking my chances on this single plant and am not looking to spend too much money.
I am currently using 2 26watt daylight CFLS (6500k) an 18" flourescent light that is a reptile light but gives off a high number of blue and green spectrum rays, and 2 24 watt "cool white" bulbs. Will this be enough??? I have all lights relatively close, say about 2" away give or take and a fan going. I know several people are using 6-20 of these cfls, but i only have one plant, she (hopefully) seems to be doing well but am curious is i am giving it enough light. THANKS!

is the 18inch tube 40 watts? if so I would say for one plant that would be good enough.. I usually say around 150 watts of cfl per plant will do excellent yields

its actually only 15w, which im surprised with because the light costs me 20 bucks and is used to simulate sunlight for desert reptiles (for example a bearded dragon)
Ive got the 2 26w daylight cfls, and the fluorescent light on top, and two 24w 2700 cfls on the side.

Plenty of light....just position it so you get maximum light to as much of the plant as you can. "listen" to her as she grows, you'll see.
haha thanks for the feedback. I'm gonna start working on a grow log to see her progress. All lights are angled on her very well about 2-4 inches away from her leaves. and I have the fan on consistently to hopefully enhance her stems, the next process is nutes, I bought some 20-20-20 fert and am gonna wait a couple more days to make sure she can handle it.

heres a new pic of my baby
alright so, sadly enough ive got some browning and drooping at the end of my leaves. i know the pH is fine...6.8 i dont think ive been giving too much nutes, but just in case im gonna wait for the soil to dry out and flush it out w water. any suggestions? is it possible its being under-nuted??? possibly over-watered???

im not sure if anyone has been paying attention to my posts anymore, but i thought i would give you all a little update...

i had her in veg for about 6-7 weeks (not including germination) then switched her to flower almost 2 weeks ago, turns out its a GIRL and ive got some sprouts on the way.

i am currently using 7 cfls, 6 being 26w and one being 68w (thank you home depot) and a 15w flour tube high in blue spectrum and some red as well.

i am using mg organic soil w perilite. Shes in what looks like a 2 gallon pot. she usually gets watered twice a week, depending how dry the soil gets.

right now ive got some yellowing, possibly due from not enough lighting? not really sure but not overly concerned cause the current bud sites are looking healthy...very healthy! please write back, id love to hear any comments, this is my first time and id love to hear your input/know about anyone elses current grow situation

What posts are we supposed to be paying attention to? It's been 5 weeks since we've heard from you here.
