I would get a vortex 6" inline fan for your ventallation. Leave one 8" hole on the bottom of one side of tent open for passive Intake. Then hang the fan inside or just outside the tent at the top pulling the air out and blowing it into another room if possible. Keeping temps below 82 and above 60 is optimal. Heat will cause stretch and airy buds along with other things im sure. And I would use the 400 watt light for veg. And get another 400 watt light to flip on during flower. Or use your 400 in a seperate tent for veg. And get a 600 or 1000 watt light with an air cooled hood. You could get some serious yields. Not sure if any of this is possible just throwing my thoughts out there

Gotcha. I would get you a big ocillatimg fan bleeping across the canopy at the least. If temos get too high think about adding an in line Exaust with a passive intakeZ

Yea I have the same thing. Along with others. Why I started smoking. I wouldn't do an outdoor grow and an indoor. Everything indoor is concealed and safer. You get spotted going to and from an outdoor grow then your indoor grow will get busted too.

The key to drying is drying as slow as you can without it molding. Here's what I do. I cut the plant whole and hang dry for 2-3 days. Then I chop into indiviual stalks and dry untill leaves are good and crispy. I then trim the buds and hang untill they are dry to the touch. It still have some moisture weight to them. I put them in a large jar overnight. If the buds are extremely wet the next day I'll take out and lay on paper for 15 min. Then back in the jar for another two days. Then if buds still wet to touch I take out for another 15 then back in te jar and repeat untill buds feels dry the next day. Then I burp the jar(quickly crack open) after 2 days. Then again after 4. Then again a week later then once a week till their ready. I dry for about 1 week maybe a little more. A very slow dry which dries the outside of the bud, then pulls moisture from the center making the buds evenly wet. Helps get rid of clorophyl taste. I cure for one month

I live in the boonies too pretty much. What state. Sucks it's not legal I hope it is here before tok long. Is stick to the indoor tho it's so much safer as far as getting caught. At least that's how I feel

Yea I just moved to nc. Wouldn't want to do outdoor here. The cure is optional of how long. 1 week is ok. 2 weeks even better. The longer the better. But if you can make the drying process slow down enough to never have it smell like hay, you won't have a hay smell. Even if it does start to smell like grass a bit a good cure can help bring it back to smelling good

Lol yea I got ya lol. When they say that I immediatly look for a new dealer cause their usually full of shit and I don't like dealing with "hood niggas" callin their shit loud and it never is. Bjt you gotta practice. The key points would be the environment being optimal. Ventallation and air exchange rate or co2 levels. Feeding the plant enough but not over feeding and having enough light, good genetics, healthy plant and roots, and correct ph all play a major role in strong buds

The cheese I just grew blows the socks off anything I've bought in a year at least. And it was my first grow. Now I soent 10 k setting up my home for a perpetual grow for pain management so don't wxpext that. But you can grow some good herb with littl work. Just research and find good people on here to follow.

That's only 56 days from my post, 2/26/2015 and it looks like you need 3 weeks to a month IMO. Those buds are nowhere near ripe looking at it zoomed in.

If you cut too early all that time effort goes down the drain as the high and potency is not good. Even if they say 60 days, 70 days or even more is more realistic.

From a top bud of your plant I screen shot so others could see better.

Not ripe, I'd wait a while.

Here's a pic of a ripe bud.

And one of my last ones with similar lighting as yours that was said to be 50 something to 60 something days but I needed to wait 73 or so days and really it could have gone longer.
