yeah i thought about the 250, but i dont pay my power (parents do cause i'm a full time student) and most 250s that i would want don't fit in the Darkroom 40 and i would have to upgrade to the 60 which is a little too big for me. I figure a 150 watt won't be too big of a bleep on the radar ya know.

Also, by the price of the fan I assume you are talking about the inline duct booster fan. I would go at least with a 6inch exaust fan. I am running one 400 hps bulb in a 2X3 closet and use an 8 inch for exaust and a 6inch for intake. Plus, any ducting attached to those fans will really slow them down. Plus, you cant put any kind of filter on those booster fans. I just bought a new canfan. I suggest buying their 4inch inline fan for 75 dollars and you probably wouldn't need a intake fan. If sound is a problem build a box around it with sound foam on the inside to quite the noise. Then you can make a homemade carbon filter which should quite it as well.

One more thing, I would think two 150 watt bulbs would be unnecessary. With that low wattage you will not be able to penetrate foilage very well, which means you shouldn't veg too long. I would do 12/12 from seed so your plants dont get to big. Then you only have to run 12 hours a day. My 400watt bulb cost me an extra 34 dollars a month. You could go with a 250 watt bulb, you would get better results and should only cost 15-20 dollars extra a month, depending on you kwh/hour charge.

yeah i should prob step it up on the pH meter

as for the fans i really think this would be my only option. Can you give me a link to those inline fans. The inline fans i am thinking of only connect to the wall or sit on the floor...In the darkroom 40 i am gonna get there will be absolutely no floor space so i would need to hang it up and i can't both the thing on the my tent ya know.

And as for that extra bulb, its and AgroMax bulb which is an HPS light that gives off alot more blue light than standard bulbs. good for vegging.

anymore tips? i could use'em

the duct booster fans are not that loud. The 4 inch inline fan that I was talking about is on that htgsupply website you listed. They are louder, but much better.

thanks green cross, i'll prob end up getting a real good bulb cause i will be using such little light so i might just get that one in a 150 watt version. as for bturner, there is a good combo on htgsupply.com for a 4inch inline fan/4 inch carbon filter for 120 so i will prob get that and one duct booster fan for my intake....thank you for your help
