Am I high for thinking I can grow with a single 100watt led bulb ?

Alright, I've been looking around the web this evening & found a company called edison opto out of Taiwan who has led's up to 100watt for a single bulb. Check out video#5, bright enough to light up streets & high bays

Now I found a guy out of hong kong who is selling 100watt single led bulbs & he also sells AC power drivers for it. The led's come in soft white & bright white. CFL growers basically use the same so it has me thinking then these should work to. My only concern is the lumens @ 6500lm. That is nowhere near as a 400watt hps let alone 2 of them equaling a 150watt hps.

Are these bulbs the way of the future or am I just high ?

buy local with a reputable vendor and you have less chance of being ripped off.

not worth the money imo, you can use leds but make your own. look up grreen thumb wannabe and check his grow journal.

Why would I have a problem with customs ?
It's a light. I've bought bootleg dvd's years ago coming out of taiwan. I've bought plenty of crap from asia & never had problems with customs. P.S. Yeah I'm high

dvd's are 1 thing but a 'GROW LIGHT" is another!! the see you buy a grow light and do a small back ground check and if you purchased ANY "GARDENING EQUIP. OR HYDRO EQUIP. with a debit card or credit card then you'll definitely be a target!!

Since when is a single led considered garden equipment ? You are paranoid. I myself ran a business for many years selling cable descramblers. All my suppliers for raw boxes & boss/oz board descramblers that were plug & play all came from asia. Everything I ordered went & cleared through customs. I'm talking about pallet orders. I never had a visit from the feds. I advertised in the back of popular electronics for over 6 years. I just would never sell to anyone who lived in the same state I operated my business out of. If cable didn't switch from analog to digital I would still be in the business today full speed ahead.

Trust me, purchasing 1 little led light is nothing one should really worry about.
Relax my friend, take a deep breath & get that paranoia out of your system.

customs has more important things to do, lol, they cant do all that shit cuz you bought a grow light, grow lights are not illegal and have other uses than just growing pot.

They wont care if you buy a bunch of them just dont buy seeds and all that other crap together - your just getting paranoid..

My advice would be to spend the extra $ and buy from a hyrdo store or some lighting store Chinese stuff is shit... thats why its so cheap.
